When a planet is conjunct the ascendant is the ascendant person more attracted or the planet person? Or does it depend on the planets involved?

I'm thinking of setting up two friends of mine. Person A's Jupiter and South Node are conjunct Person B's Ascendant. Assuming they find each other attractive would person A be more into person B or vice Versa?

Not sure but from what I read and personal experience..it is the planet that is attracted to the ASC
