I know Saturn is one of them. But what are some other aspects?

the longevity of a relationship is determined by many other aspects, with saturn among others

check out this link, I personally found it very helpful http://www.cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com/lasting-love.html

Jupiter in the 8th. Not an aspect, but might be the best position for longevity.

Normally these are seen as Saturn's sextiles, trines, and conjunctions to luminaries and personal points/planets (Asc, Moon, Sun, Venus, etc); Pluto's sextiles ... etc to same or similar.

However, it is hard to underestimate the effect of bonds illustrated by parallels and conjunctions, etc, between Asc/Moon/Sun/Nodes.

I've read that conjunctions and squares can also be binding. I know in regards to harsh Saturn aspects it's usually the Saturn person who is cold towards the planet person. But I try not to act that way towards the planet person if I can help it.

Vesta (devotion) aspects
Juno (committment) aspects

(with Major Planets and ASC)

Other "possible" factors:
Major Planets in partner's 2nd house
Major Planets in partner's 7th house
Venus-Chiron
Mars-Chiron
Eros-Psyche
Persephone-Pluto

Saturn trines show longevity. Conjunctions and hard aspects can be binding as well but they are more likely to feel unpleasant.

I have to disagree with Chiron-Venus and Eros-Psyche. These are more fated love meetings; not necessarily destined to last forever.

In regards to the hard Saturn aspects. I really think it depends on how the Saturn person acts towards the planet person. I think it helps if the Saturn person is aware of their actions and tries to not be so harsh. At least this is what I try to do anyway.

10H. If you don't have Saturn contacts in your synastry, see if anything falls in your each other's 10H. That's the house of Saturn and and angular one. It's really important. Anyone who puts their personal planet/s on your MC or in your 10H is going to stay long in your life. That's been my experience.

I agree. I know an engaged couple with no significant Saturn contacts but his Venus is conjunct her MC and his Sun falls in her 10th. Her Mars falls in his 10th.
