As I have already asked the composite guru for his take, I would like to ask you Kannon for your take on our synastry charts? I am the inner wheel. This man holds my heart and I think we are perfect. This is just a little quest that I am on about love - fated or spontaneous magic. Can you let me know your thoughts based on the chart? It would be very much appreciated! Namaste....

So Todd did the composite and it was hella interesting! Kannon, can you or anyone else who can read the charts, do our synastry please? From the composite, it looks like a fated, karmic relationship and it certainly feels that way but I have also read in the forum that karmic relationships are hard and usually do not work out. This relationship has been like breathing, easy and 100% positive so maybe it's just simple love, lol... I don't know but interested to see if synastry shows anything else. Heat, yes. Spontaneity, yes, I can see that, but it is mostly on your end. "Fated", I can see why you'd say that (Venus-Pluto + node connections), but what I see more of is craving. Since you are more mature persons there is a chance for a relationship to develop well if you impatience and obsession towards each other and the relationship. With 24 (poss. 25) challenging/negative aspects and 21 supportive/positive, this synastry is a near equal mixed bag, but not quite what I'd prefer to see, particularly with some of the negative/challenging aspects. Of particular concern is your Moon/Sun in Gemini square his Mars/Pluto in Virgo. This indicates some potential clashes over the particulars of routines/personal spaces. Certainly there is passion indicated here, but it could easily become the unhealthy kind. This configuration alone advises to keep things loose, free and without expectations, preferably not a live-in relationship until there is good understanding and acceptance of the different habits and domestic routines. You will tend to be too loose and casual in your attitudes towards the particulars he likes a certain way in his space. So long as you don't give over control of your space to be reshaped by his preferences, there is a chance to work out things to an agreeable middle ground. Avoid the temptation to go all-in melding your lives too quickly. This synastry is better suited to a modern relationship of two independent persons not in nesting domestic mode. Normally I'd like to see clear indicators of Moon/Sun/Jupiter/Venus/Asc connections, but I am not counting the Asc/MC figures you've given since those are rarely accurate enough for including in aspects. Venus aspects overall, good. Mercury aspects overall, stressed; shows blurry views of each other, tendency by him to avoid your rose colored views, evade direct communication. Lunar aspects 2-3 negative to 1 positive; there may be more in a complete synastry since his Moon in Pisces is at 5° south, a possible parallel to your Asc in Libra; but so far not as supportive of a domestic relationship as we'd like to see. Best approached as a spontaneous, free relationship in which you don't jam each others' different domestic preferences on each other. Don't expect either person to change their habits for the relationship. Appreciate the value of space and a tad of distance from each other. If you can live with that, enjoy your sparks! ------------------

So, isn't it curious that how the relationship actually is, seems to be shown in composite chart and is more truthful about the success of our relationship. The synastry chart seems fraught and more unharmonious when you compare it the actual reality of the relationship, 3 almost 4 years of domestic in house bliss. To me the synastry chart tend to fall apart. I guess the synastry chart give an idea of how two people can come together, it shows the initial start of the attraction. This is what you are working with at the start. The composite is way more accurate about the real way you would behave in a relationship. It says this is what your actuaized relationship might look. Last, there is real life. The actual relationship with learning, maturity and the magic of love that heals all. Lizuz, that is good to hear. You've got the benefit of more maturity between you. I certainly would not recommend a synastry with these challenges for 20-somethings (or younger) looking to hop into living together.Also, remember, this synastry is incomplete since Ascendants for both charts have not been verified and included with aspects. There could be multiple positive/bonding aspects there that change the story a bit. The composite chart is certainly the one to use if you are already unified and living together. ------------------

Just wanted to give an update - we got married on May 19, 2018 and the relationship continues to be the best that I have ever experienced - I have never been loved like this and I feel so blessed!! first time i see someone so blissfully happy in a relationship asking for composite and synastry advice. normally people do not ask when they are happy.people tend to look for answers when something feels odd or out of place.. make suspect that this question was more "let see what these astrologers: Kannon & Todd can say about it"... Not always... Sometimes people who are happy ALSO love astrology and want to apply it to their own relationships. The two can co-exist.

Nordicsoul, sometimes you can be happy in love AND also love astrology and want to see what the 'stars' say about your relationship. No worries! To tell the truth my first marriage was so nondescript that when I met my current husband, I was totally overwhelmed by how passion and love could feel! I had no idea that this is what people had when they were in a loving relationship. So I went to astrology looking for answers. We have some really beautiful aspects and Kannon or Todd identified some of the *ahem* hot aspects. They also gave some food for thought with Uranus playing a part thru the immediacy and dynamic feeling of the relationship. One of them also said that although we had some rough aspects, being older we were way more equip to ride any waves. So that was my interest. However, I always believe in free will and while I love this hobby, I live my life in the real world. Maybe I was too forceful with that and that set off your spidey sense but truly, I just like dabbling and have no bad intents. Take care!
