Does anyone have any idea how a double whammy quincunx between the suns and moons would play out in synastry? Is this potentially very difficult? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Do you mean Your Sun quincunx his Moon & His Sun quincunx your Moon?

And if yes ^, would that make both natal Sun/Moon midpoints conjunct/opposite?
Or does it result in a Composite Sun-Moon conj/opposition?

Both would be a very strong alignment. I do not see this in terms of bad/good, only as a proof of a very powerful connection, vibrated by the 12th harmonic (are all 30 deg multiple aspects, under which the quincunx).

Thanks for replying, Mir. Yes, my sun is quincunx his moon and his sun is quincunx my moon.
In the composite the sun and moon are almost exactly opposite

The tighter the composite alignment the better.

I will give you a link, it might seem a bit complex but then you get an idea of what I mean. It was/is my "page bible" for years (now) but I'm aware it takes time to really "get"..

yours is the "composite chart alignment".
