Perhaps the two of you have good karma with each other and are meant to help each other learn your saturn lessons but in a positive way. Like you have this effect on each other that makes you both want to put your life in order and grow.

That is my guess. Does it fit?

You inspire each other to mature and get things in order, you help each other become unstuck and get stagnant energy flowing again.

Interesting...so are you saying that you feel you get in each other's way in a sense? like is challenging to mature together?

Hypatia, hi!

I have one quintile in synastry. 1 degree separating, Moon Mercury. Do you know what it means and if it's a 'working' aspect with this orb? Tahnks

Yes 1 orb should work, some astrologers use up to 2 orbs for quintiles but astrotheme uses up to 1 orb for quintiles in synastry.

I imagine your conversations are very stimulating like you probably have great brainstorming sessions and feed of each other's ideas..or do you feel is disruptive like each wants to do their own thing when one is in an emotional mood the other is an in intellectual mood and vise versa?

Yes!
He and I see growing older in
a different way. He's all about
party, party, party (no booze or other
just concept of Saggy fun style), I'm
the monk who wants to meditate after years of
too much party. Lol

Interesting, I dont know if this is the quintile aspect in effect although it can be but it could be just differences in personality, a natal thing!

But yes the quintile can manifest probably in a disruptive way too depending on the rest of the synastry but it can be this breath of fresh air and new energy that helps people get unstuck and inspires creativity.

Where is your Saturn and his Saturn?

Thanks for answering! Soooo I cannot understand ..is quintile a good thing in synastry or bad? Because 1st sentence seemed like a good thing but 2nd - the opposite, some discord and mismatch..

I think it can go either way depending on the rest of the synastry, quintile is an aspect about creativity, energy, inspiration but it can also be disruptive if not embraced and handled well.

Aha, I think I got it. So something like this. If you don't get 1) 'conversations are very stimulating like you probably have great brainstorming sessions and feed of each other's ideas' then you might get 2) 'disruptive like each wants to do their own thing when one is in an emotional mood the other is an in intellectual mood and vise versa' So the trick is to balance the TWO in such a way that you get more of 1 than 2

I think so yes, well put. Like right now we are brainstorming together, sharing thoughts about how quintiles are like.
