Okay, couple of weeks ago, I've met someone a bit younger than myself. Now, I am not looking for someone or something because I'm terrified of relationships. And I'm generally not so great at them. So I just avoid it all like it's plague. But since I also know myself, I like to do synastry charts between people in my life (both platonic and romantic) and composites. And our synastry is, well, sorta interesting. I'm aware of grand cross and messed up Saturn. All my things had messed up Saturn. Guess it's my thing! But there is also Sun/Venus and Venus/Mars/Descendant. Second one is composite, had Pluto in first on Ascendant, that's thing number two I like. Well, not like like because I know how exhausting and excruciating it can get. But we don't ''date date'' just couple of drinks here and there. My question is, should I maybe just try (and trying will go both ways) or should I just pack my things and run away? ------------------ Sun in Virgo Moon in Scorpio Venus in Scorpio Jupiter in Scorpio Pluto in Scorpio MC in Scorpio NN in Scorpio ASC in Capricorn IP: Logged |

This looks pretty intense. What the synastry shows me is that you may be slightly more attracted to him than he is to you...his BML is near your Sun/Chiron conjunction and his Venus is right on your Descendant which creates a very powerful attraction. On the plus side, your Venus/Moon/Jupiter stellium trines his Sun/MC but on the negative he has an unaspected Moon. And then the Composite shows what I mean by intense because of the Moon/Pluto conjunction on the Ascendant (probably the main theme of this relationship). Interesting placement with Venus on the MC: shows a public relationship. I think Todd will have more thoughts on the Composite IP: Logged |

Venus/MC shows, because he is touchy feely with me when in public. And since I'm not really thrilled about people watching, it can be a little, how do I put this, overbearing. But we are not that serious anyways.

hi 9th scorpiothe first aspect that strikes me is the venus/mars midpoint square to pluto and the ascendant. this is a extremely sexual/carnal aspect that rarely leads to anything serious because sexual selfishness is the over riding interest. the sun/chiron midpoint is conjunct to Chiron which can show the focus of the relationship will be understanding each others emotional and mental inner workings. this can give a intricate understanding of each other but doesn't necessarily translate into a closer emotional relationship. With Chiron opposed to Saturn it is likely that this intimate knowledge of eac other would led to one trying to "control" the other, somewhat of a emotional power trip. with the moon conjunct o pluto and sextile to chiron ,sextile to Neptune and tine to Saturn... there is a strong element of understanding and support and potential healing affects. Jupiter square to Saturn works against long term status as the impulse to merge and the impulse to move away are in conflict. todd

I really know how to pick 'em! All jokes aside, I do enjoy spending time with him and I'm not really big on the whole love-at-first-sight thing, but I feel like something deeper is missing. We've met a month ago, give or take. IP: Logged |

@9thScorpioThe synastry shows that you could like each other. But this is not a serious relationship, there is too much missing. He has Moon in Sagittarius, you have Moon conjunct Jupiter. He has Saturn in the 7th, you have a Cap Asc. So there is a little bit mirroring. His Asc ruler Venus is conjunct your Dsc. This is by far the strongest overlay/aspect. If his Sun and Mars were better positioned, you would've seen marriage material in him. I could imagine that you were really attracted to him in the beginning but as you got to know him better the attraction started fading real quick. Your Venus conjunct Moon mirrors his Cancer Venus, this is also positive. But there are just no significant interaspects except Venus conjunct Dsc. For example, your Asc ruler Saturn does absolutely nothing to his personal (female!) planets. His Dsc ruler Mars isn't touched by any of your planets except for a really loose conjunction with your Mercury which is telling in a way that you would be better of being friends. Your Dsc ruler Moon isn't receiving anything either and your Moon is in Scorpio - I don't see him having any Plutonian energy whatsoever. So when you expect of him to take charge, show depth, he's being passive and blah. Your Sun is unaspected, I could go on and on... This is meh, honestly. IP: Logged |
