Besides Venus? Sometimes I think Saturn aspects but Saturn doesn't represent love just stability. IP: Logged |

I would say that Venus is the main planet for affection...I would also look at good Moon contacts.IP: Logged |

Saturn on its own is cold, but it can be binding if it touches someone else's chart in the right way. For there to be affection, there would need to be other factors. The sun can be very affectionate as well. Sun, Venus, Moon. IP: Logged |

Compatible Moons surely, but I also love Moon-Jupiter for affection.Venus is always going to be the first when it comes to things we love though because that's what she rules. Venus shows how we give, perceive, and receive love. So ruling her out of this isn't really logical. Sun-Moon can be affectionate, as can Asc-Moon, but Venus is gonna be your go to gal here. Even a not so well aspected Venus in synastry can show love and affection by the overlays onto the partner's natal. Your Venus in your partner's first or in the love houses, for example. Sorry, I know you said besides Venus, but like I said, it doesn't make sense to disclude her from your inquery. Do you have an affectionate relationship that doesn't have strong Venus aspects? Maybe look at easy aspects between Moon-Mars (emotional-physical connection = physical affection).

What do you think about Moon in the 4 house synastry overlay? When a person has their Moon in your 4th house?

Well, the 4th house cusp is your IC (using placidus), the most personal part of your chart. Someone's Moon in that house could do a couple things: 1: the house person feels that they can trust the Moon person to support and nurture them. Which could create feelings of appreciation and love directed toward the planet person. 2: not everyone is comfortable exposing themselves and their pasts the way this overlay would appreciate. The Moon person wants to be close, but the house person may pull away for fear of giving away too much of themselves. Could you maybe post the synastry and composite? IP: Logged |
