What does it mean?

I think your relationship or partnership with this person will be of great help for the SN person on their evolutionary path (NN on synastry DSC)

amazing bond.

but i've heard its a bond that happens to help the node person to overcome some very difficult period in her/his life. and after a while it comes to an end

I shared that with someone incredibly dear to me. And exactly that happened. No hard feelings involved. Though that might be just my case.

I also have something similar with another person. That one isn't coming along nicely though

I've realised just yesterday that this seems to have been the case in my story. It's very tough for me as the Ascendant person though.

Sorry to hear it didn't work in your favor. In vedic astrology Ketu (also known as the SN) shows where a native has apathy.. because it is part of their past life so they have a 'meh...been there done that' attitude towards it. So it's possible that over time the SN person simply becomes apathetic towards the asc person.

Yes, that's a possibility, although, I personally don't quite mind planets/angles on my SN as long as the relationship is positive/beneficial and not draining. Not all SN contacts are bad.
