I think the Composite Saturn with me and fishy is the reason for it taking so long, and being such a slow process.. We both just want to be sure in a way..
I feel glued not matter what he is always going to be around.. Im not in a hurry, sometimes its sort of frustrating.. He says so too, but we just have to take this super slow...

Here are Saturn aspects in the Composite.
Saturn
trine venus -
trine mars
sextile sun
sextile mercury.
square uranus (no other uranus aspects)

What do you think about these aspects together as a whole?

Saturn in a composite.. is really interesting. Out of all the planets in a certain composite I'm looking at right now, I just can't get over Saturn and the effects they manifest.

It's difficult to think about this when you're "deep in it" with someone - but when your desires aren't immediately gratified, you're thinking that there's clearly something wrong with this partnership, otherwise why would I feel this yearning? The fact of the matter is that taking it slow is rare because rarely are two people ever considering all the pros and cons of being together - to protect ones emotions, to slowly intellectually digest whether this person is good for you or not, whether you're in good hands with them.. these are actually all the hallmarks of EXTREMELY healthy thinking. It doesn't feel like it, but it is. To take things slow is to be rational. You're concerned about the future - what's the point of getting deeply involved right away before knowing whether this has longetivy in the future, only to crash and burn?

I currently have Saturn conjunct Venus/Mars (0 degrees together) with 1 degree in my composite with someone. It's also conjunct the North Node of the composite by 5 degrees. We're also taking things veeeeery slow. Slow burn from October on. It's a very rational process. We've both been extremely hurt in the past but can't deny the chemistry that surrounds us when we're together.. but there's still a hesitancy. Still feeling each other out. I get a similar vibe from you and Pisces. I don't think Saturn is bad as long as you understand where the planet is coming from. It's just looking out for you.

Thanks JFK..

Honestly its one of the most mature "what ever it is" have ever had..
We talk and discuss every single aspect between us (not astrology aspect)
We talk about our passion for each other daily, or wants, needs.. What bothers us..
Its frustrating but at the same time its ok..

We have discussed our fears about being together.. But we havent found a way to over come them (pluto type fears)
I think we are both afraid of becoming obsessed, but I think we already are.. We just cant give into that...
We both have venus sq pluto in natals..
We both also have an active Uranus in natals, so we like the passion, but IDK I dont think either of us can really deal with the dependency we have between us..

sighh.... IDK what to do. Im really really at a loss here... Im stuck, but I cant do it, but I cant leave...
Im not sure what I am suppose to do here...

Whoa. I'm way too old to have the luxury of waiting around for all that Saturn business. That planet is no fun at all, and why bother with a relationship when it's not fun and stimulating?

A relati0nship with c0mposite asc c0nj saturn never gets off the ground. I had it with s0me0ne and we could never make it together because of all the restricti0ns and limitati0ns punching us in the face. Saturn can really delay and hinder. I had the venus/saturn sq and mars/sat sextile in c0mp with my ex. He wanted to be with me fr0m the very start but I simply t0ok the first flight to a different c0untry and lost c0ntact. He seemed frustrated when I met him after a m0nth. We faced n0 other delay. The relati0nship was extremely stable and serious fr0m day 1.

Hi Lioness, I know this is a somewhat older thread, but what house is your composite Saturn in?

I've been thinking about this question too lately. I had composite Saturn conjunct sun in 7th house with my ex, and it was on and off but we kept getting back together for way too long, when we should have just gone our separate ways. There was definitely a lesson to be learned there for both of us about relationships, but it wasn't fun or easy lol. Now i have composite saturn in 5th house with someone along with moon and NN, and we have strong feelings for each other, we just can't seem to express them very easily or make a commitment based on them.

So, I know that's only one thing to consider but I think the house placements are also pretty revealing...

Aspects are good although that is a lot of planets tied into saturn.

Square Uranus would tend to provide some erratic and unexpected behaviors and seeing as it is a square it suggests a challenge of sorts.

It seems that you will encounter a lot of heaviness and obstacles in this relationship.

In my composite (i use Davison charts for that purpose) we have following Saturn aspects:

The strongest one :

Saturn conjunct Descendant (exact)
That makes it opposite Amor (1d) , which sits on ASC
Saturn opposite Chiron
Saturn conjunct Neptune
Saturn square Union

I imagine those aspects will make you guys feel very important to each other. Gives the impression of being a very serious partnership, and solid ground to build upon.

I have also been wondering about Saturn in composite charts. It seems Saturn puts obstacles in the way to make sure that what you want is worth fighting for.

That being said, Saturn's coldness makes me want to punch a wall. Saturn is pretty active in my chart and obviously seeps into my relationships.

In the composite chart between the man I have loved for 5 plus years, we have major Saturn.

Saturn conjunct Uranus 2*a
Saturn square sun 4*a
Saturn square Union 5*a
Saturn square Venus 5*a
Saturn square Mercury 3*s
Saturn square Juno/Eros 7*a
Saturn opposite Karma 0*a
Comp Saturn conjunct his natal Venus 0* and opposite my natal Chiron 0*

In synastry his Saturn is conjunct my vertex 1*s and opposite my Venus 2*a.

It has been the hardest experience of my life so far. We go way back, and we have had feelings for each other from day one. Despite that, out of insecurity, fear, and our young age, we set up structures to prevent one another from getting too close. Now years, and many many regrets later, we still love each other. Just when I think its over, and we have hurt each other beyond grace, we find our way back.

Even though it almost seems impossible at this time, I still have hope. Or maybe not even hope but a deep knowing that its not even close to being over.

As far as you and your Fishy, you guys seem so genuine and loving that Saturn will likely just maintain the structures you build with one another.

And maybe check the progressed synastry for the "trigger" of sorts. Aspects to Sun/Moon MP, progressed Venus to progressed sun, etc.

My guy and I have a progressed Venus trine progressed sun coming up

@LavaFlower.
Thanks for your input. I think the reason why we have so much saturn is because we work together.. Working together is both a curse and a blessing.. Working together is hard because we have to keep it all a secret, because Im a manager and he isnt.. But if we didnt work together than we both would have walked away a long time ago, probably never spoken again..
Having constant contact keeps it going..
First we had a short fling, then became friends, then stopped talking, then became very very good friends which has developed into a romance..
I feel very bonded to him.. Its very hard to walk away..
The Saturn aspects arent to bad.. We have some other good aspects which just makes us get along so well..

Hey BTW.. His Saturn is conjunct my Vertex too..
Yes we have the progressed trigger going on..
