I have a theory that I'm interested in finding some information about. I had initially thought that Venus synastry in a man wasn't a huge deal in terms of what I had observed and personally experienced. I had initially thought that a man tends to gravitate towards his Mars and Moon the most. I'm wondering if that is wrong or if I was missing a key element.

The theory I'm thinking about is that if you have planets Conjunct your Asc you attract the sign the planet corresponds to. For instance lets say you have a woman with her Asc Conjunct Neptune. A man with Pisces Venus (or Venus Conjunct Neptune) or signs prominent in Pisces will find her very attractive. Another example is a Leo Venus or Mars man might find a woman with her Sun in the 1st and/or Conjunct her Asc attractive. The same could be said for a woman having her Mars in Cancer. She might like a man who has his Asc Conjunct his Moon, or Moon in the 1st. Anyway have any of you experienced this or seen this in your own lives or the lives of others you know? Does this sound reasonable?

I have a few examples:

I know one celebrity example off the bat. Justin Timberlake married Pisces Sun Jessica Biel. His natal Moon is Conjunct Neptune.

I'm dating a Aries Venus. My Mars is in the 1st and Conjuct my Asc

What I have found:

- venus in a men tend to do with what they find appealing through physical attractiveness (of women).

- moon in a men tend to do with their emotional fulfillment. Because of men can't handle emotions department very well, they need help, so the moon aspect to their women's ASC or sun (or maybe moon?) help to keep their moon naturally happy without too much trying to fit in to fill the void or trying to change of who they really are to make a peace, because sooner or later it will feel like too much hardwork and never get the right fit in.

- mars in a men tend to do with how they can easily relate to with you (men or women). Because men tend to show their mars (and sun) when socializing or seduce/attract the opposite sex. They will also unconsciously draw people who can complement their mars (usually mars to the other sun person), then time will tell if the other person's mars get a mutual complement, if good then they will be a best buddy. -- I take an example from my brother's friendship, he has mars in cancer and his best bud is a Pisces. This Pisces has mars in Aries and my brother's sun is in Leo.

I also read that mars in men has something to do with what they are looking for in women? I don't know if this is true, but I attract some of mars in Capricorn, Taurus (very often), Cancer, Leo, who make no conjunction to my personal planets.

My Sag asc conjunct saturn/uranus, and may conjunct mars from the 12th house (I don't know the exact minutes of my birth time, so I make a guess to what I find I can relate to the most).

I don't attract venus in Cap or venus in Sag at all. I also don't think I get attracted to them at all. Some of my friends are having those placement.

My sun in 2nd house, my Cancer ex who obsessed over me in 10 years after the break up has venus in Leo. His venus trine my Asc and moon (our moon surprisingly conjunct, I'm shook lol). The same with Leo mars, who plays cat mouse thing and spying me for years, which I may understand why because he has venus in cancer and moon in taurus.

So, yeah, that's what I have found.

GrlyGir, I was born with Leo Mars rising. Not especially attracted to Aries nor Scorpio women. My fave rising signs are Leo and Taurus. I am very attracted to Leo Sun and Leo Venus girls. Super attracted to a local girl with Leo Sun conj my Leo ASC and Mars. Alas she is not romantically attracted to me.

Heartreasure, my natal Gemini Venus is not attracted to Gemini Sun women. My late Gemini Moon is not attracted to Gemini rising, Sun, nor Moon. I am attracted to late Libra Moon(my beloved first wife has it). I agree that my Leo rising Mars is attracted to Leo Sun and Leo rising(also Leo Venus).

Yes comdoc, that is why when explaining venus aspect in a man I don't put aspects there, but what the physical attractiveness is. For example, if men has venus in Taurus, doesn't mean they like all Taurean women, this venus will find appealing anyone who embodies his venus preferences.

Moon, men tend to looking for "comfort" (but, who doesn't? lol, women too) and will mostly naturally happy when his moon make an aspect to women's ASC, sun, or moon, hard and soft aspect, minor is too weak I think?. Their sun also plays the part, because men secretly want someone to understand their personality too.

But, mars? I don't know if it is what they are looking for, may be unconsciously, but I have found men's mars to women's moon or venus is the real deal of attraction. But those mars alone doesn't help enough, they're still looking for the moon making an aspect to women's ASC, sun, and moon.

I have read somewhere, there must be connection to ASC, sun, and moon of men to women's ASC, sun, and moon, and vice versa, this will create a strong attraction and comfort to each other because of the natural understanding happen between two people. Easy relationship helps making it last forever, that is why trine and sextile are very good aspect to have, just don't fall to the laziness that lead to boring relationship. (Although myself avoid a relationship that has too many trine/sextile, I still need the square and opposition and conjunction to keep the spark, but not too much also lol)

Because your Moon and Venus are in Gemini how are the Mercury aspects between yourself and the women you dated?

Uranus conjunct ascendant, and that would explain why I'm still single. I tend to attract men who want to be seen as "different" or don't want a stable lifestyle. They want to stand out, offend, and I'm running in the other direction, because I want fun and stable. Kind, smart, but not someone who thinks they're so much smarter than the rest of us dweebs.

Uranus conjunct Ascendant here too Teasel.

I'm single because I absolutely love my own company and it takes a very special man for me to share myself ;-) The 'wrong' kind of guy is very draining and debilitating and since I've no interest in marriage, kids etc. then I'm happy to wait.

I do attract independent, intelligent and Aquarian men, or should I say I am attracted to that type of man. I attract all kinds of incompatible men all the time.... people are drawn to 'different' ;-)
