I have the opposition and trine in my synastry:

Sun (male) trine Venus (female ; myself) 12 seconds from exact.

Sun (female ; myself) opposition Venus (male) 1 degree

so I guess I can give you SOME insight.

We both just love being in one another's company. It doesn't matter if we're doing absolutely nothing. Just being around each other makes us feel all warm and fuzzy like everything is right in the world.

The downside is when his Venus offends my Sun (opposition). The way he shows his love or goes about expressing it, rubs me the wrong way sometimes even though I know he cares. He just expresses love differently.

P.S. This response could be very bias considering we have many other "warm and fuzzy" aspects to enhance the Sun-Venus DW.

The Sun-Venus square in your case might be similar to the opposition with maybe a little less understanding? You might have to work a little harder to see where the Venus partner is coming from with their expressions of love although affection for them probably won't be lacking.

Sun-Venus is good overall.
At least there's a connection.

I will say the quincunx is torture if the overall synastry is bad, though (personal experience).

I have Venus 28TAU49 square the Sun 0VIR34 of my 'adopted' big sis who you'd call a soul mate. We may not talk for years, but she knows she can tell me pretty much anything. There's a lot more to the story than that, but I'd say that it is an example of how the love in some relationships is strong simply because it is, not because of what's happened lately or any particulars. I'd say we're a good example of a positive expression of that aspect.

That's a pretty good start for synastry showing some type of relationship, even lasting friendship.

Thank you!
Very interesting. It sounds so nice .

Well, I'm the female here: his Sun/Venus in Scorpio, falls in my 7th house, trine my Sun/Saturn.

I have Venus in Aquarius. I don't know his time of birth. So I have Venus in Aquarius and Scorpio/Pluto in 7th house. My Descendant is not touching his Sun/Venus but his Juno in Scorpio conjunct my Descendant and NN.
