Whats the effect of a quincunx between two charts? And what would the effect be for a Quincunx between Venus and Mars, and then Mars an Venus within a degree? I'm curious because the quincunx being both ways

Depends on the planets involved. Venus quincunx Mars can develop well if given time for an adjustment in expectations and ways of expressing love/affection. There may still continue to be some differences or a touch of incoordination, but in no way does this aspect dampen a good synastry.

With the quincunx going both ways, you have more of a challenge -- but still, if the relationship is worth pursuing because of a good overall synastry, then this need not inhibit it.

I'd like to see it in the actual synastry chart displayed with planetary listings intact.
