I'm currently observing what I can only describe as a karmic love triangle, and it turns out that three of those involved (there's actually a fourth) are locked in a nodal interplay. It features one guy, who has venus conjunct mars square his nodes; and three other women. (For asteroid fans, this guy has Casanova conjunct his ascendant, just saying)
With one of the women, his North Node is closely conjunct her venus; and her North Node is conjunct his moon (and asteroid Union). His lilith is conjunct her south node.
The node story here is: They have a very close friendship which is currently on a break, for want of a better term. He has 'run' (NN) from being loved (venus), and she has run (NN) from sharing emotions (moon), probably fuelling the running from the venus as well.
Enter woman 2. Her venus is conjunct his South Node, and opposite woman 1's venus. Her Asc is also conjunct woman 1's moon, which in turn is opposite the Davison Sun-Moon conjunction of the Man and Woman 1.
The nodal story here is him being drawn (SN) to her affections (venus).
I don't have any details of the third woman but strongly suspect karmic signatures around the south node.
All three have additional synastry and composite contacts, and a whole host of angle conjunctions inbetween the individual charts.
All judgments aside - yes I realise this is no oil painting of morality, but people each have their own stories to play out - this is a fascinating tableau of karma being played out.
I have no idea how it will end, but there's some soul contract work going on here for sure.
