the first thing that strikes me is the sexual chemistry.

mars on the ascendant, trine the eris /south node conjunction and loosely opposed to venus.
though this shows strong sexual attraction, eris is not a good indicator of love. and with the south node ,eris more likely to "love em and leave them" as eris is always looking for something better. sothough the sexual chemistry is strong, it may not really help the relationship long term.
venus conjunct the sun and mercury does give a real emotional connection. this shows great and spontaneous affection and with union also conjunct to venus, this gives abetter chance that a sincere relationship could develop.
once again though, sexuality may bring intimacy as pluto is square to venus/sun. this is similar to eris as this shows a very strong sexual connection, but it does not insure a intimate emotional connection will develop as the as of pluto is also does not respond to love per se.
then with Uranus conjunct to pluto at midheaven,there is the likelihood that this hookup will abrupt end.
with the moon sextile to Saturn, there is a harmony and respect between you and with moon trine to juno there are feelings things might work out long term but it is doubtful this sextile/trime can compensate for the explosive nature of the formers aspects I have mentioned.
in additionthe Jupiter/uransu midpoint is square to venus which is another indication of a sudden breakup.

very interesting. I actually am the one struggling. We connect very well and the mental and emotional sparks are the strongest. I felt a physical spark between us but it has been a less noticeable since the initial time. I find I am not sure if I have sexual feelings for him, but at the same time I am suspicious they are there, just dormant.

There is a large age difference- I was connecting that to Uranus conjunct MC?

this composite promises much but is unlikely to deliver.
Jupiter is conjunct to psyche and the node and is square to venus opposed to mercury on the ascendant. this shows a very lively affection with lots of communication and laughter. Uranus is loosely conjunct to venus which indicates the attraction was immediate and electric. wit the node conjunct to Jupiter ,the feeling definitely lean toward commitment as the romantic feeling are very strong .
Jupiter is trine to juno and Neptune and the midpoint is conjunct to moon and vestal. this really brings up vibrations of commitment and marriage . but Saturn is square to juno and Neptune which cast doubt on his sincerity. the sexual chemistry is very strong so he might be more interested in physical aspects tha emotional aspects.

eris is conjunct to ceres showing that there are strong feelings of devotion and support but again these feelings could be based on transient sexual desires rather than truly intimate feeling of love.
the sun is conjunct to chiron which will intensify any difference you have. this aspect shows a need to understand each other's every thought and feeling .if one partner does not want to share every intimate though the it can sometimes fall into feeling of irritation and "bi!tch!ness".

as I've said,you must be cautious as karma and destiny are conjunct the node and the nadir, so there are"psychic feelings" that may make you feel this has "soul mate potential.

actually I feel this is a past relationship or that the chemistry you had is gone and a future hookup is unlikely.

You are correct- he was very upfront when the flirting began to intensify and said he was only good for physical relationship at the time. That was a few weeks ago. I told him no, and I thought it was over but when I interact with him the connection is still there and he is still flirting. I sensed beneath his direct approach about just wanting sex that there was more, but also that he was not ready.
