I've been looking at a few synastry charts of married couples that contain strong Uranus aspects, and as most of us know Uranus has a tendency to cause break-ups/divorces. However with these couples they seem to also have strong Vesta aspects, the asteroid of devotion. Could this be what's keeping them together? (also included minor aspects quincunx, semi-squares, and sesqui-quadrates)

Channing and Jenna tatum
Uranus quincunx Venus (2)
Mars square Uranus (1)
DW Uranus semi-square Mars (0)
Jupiter square Uranus (3)
Uranus conjunct Mercury (2)
North Node square Uranus (1)
*There only saturn aspects are Sun quincunx Saturn (1)and Saturn square Neptune (0).
Composite: Sun square Uranus (0]

Sun trine Vesta (1)
DW Vesta opposite Sun (3)
Mars quincunx Vesta (1)
Vesta trine Jupiter (2)
Vesta trine Saturn (1)
Vesta sesqui-quadrate Pluto (0)
Vesta square Vesta (3)

Celine Dion and Rene Angélil
Jupiter square Uranus (0)
Uranus trine Sun (1)
Uranus sesqui-quadrate Mercury (0)
Uranus trine Uranus (0)
Neptune opposite Uranus (0)
DW Uranus conjunct Neptune (3)
*They share Saturn sextile Jupiter (3), considerably a weak orb for a sextile. Also Pluto trine Saturn (1), and Saturn quincunx NN (1).

Mercury square Vesta (1)
Venus square Vesta (0)
Vesta opposite North node (1)
Vesta square Jupiter (2)
Pluto square Vesta (2)
Vesta square Vesta (wide 4)

Clint and Dina Eastwood
Sun square Uranus (2)
DW Uranus square Sun (wide 5)
Uranus trine Mercury (0)
Uranus trine Venus (1)
DW Venus sextile Uranus (wide 4)
Uranus sextile North node (2)
Pluto quincunx Uranus (0)
*Saturn trine Uranus (1), Saturn quincunx NN (1), and DW Saturn semi-square NN

Sun conjunct Vesta (2)
Vesta conjunct Mercury (2)
Vesta sextile Jupiter (1)
Saturn quincunx Vesta (1)
DW Vesta quincunx Saturn (0)
Uranus sextile Vesta (wide 3)
Vesta square Neptune (0)

I do agree with the idea that Vesta is the asteroid of devotion and to some respect tantric relationships. Tantric itself means to stretch and/or expand both spiritual and sexual possibly overriding whatever differences the couple may have. I have noticed Vesta more prevalent in couples that are vastly different from one another ex. age difference, ethnic differences, religious differences etc. In the Tatum spouse case; ethnic differences she's Lebanese and polish, he's irish and french. She was prom queen in her senior year of hs, he worked part time as a stripper LOL. Independent and different in their own way.

In the second case Celine Dion and Rene Angélil, they met when she was a child, he was her manager before he was her husband with a 26 yr age difference. Also this wasn't his first marriage it was his third and her first. Arguably they are both very independent enterprising people but with the vesta aspect between that is possibly the reason why their marriage lasted.

Lastly Dina and Clint Eastwood with a even larger age difference both have seemed to work out again non-traditional relationships both with separate careers initially and ethnic differences.

I wonder whether or not these couples have the asteroid valentine connected to uranus and vesta which seems to be like cement when added to other planets and asteroids.

Another great post, Moonfish. Very interesting observation! Sounds kind of ideal to me--having that perpetual Uranian spark to keep things interesting, yet a mutual devotion offering a feeling of security.

Some of the orbs, esp. for sextiles, that are being used lately around here are a little wide for me to value, though. Just my preference. Though, I see perhaps going a little wider for double whammies.

Thanks Jovian I agree, especially for ppl who are uranian themselves.
ya for the most part I wouldn't of added some of the aspects if I didn't feel like they weren't supported by other aspects or DWs. Overall, I never go over 5 degs.

Could one predict that Uraniun rich relationships with strong Vesta aspects are likely to go the distance?

We have these within 1 degree:
Saturn/Vesta DW
Psyche/Vesta DW
Kleopatra/Vesta DW - whatever could this mean??
(In each of these, there is one quintile or quincunx. Wow!)

In addition to:
His Vesta quincunx my Union (0)
His Vesta sextile my Moon (1)
My Vesta trine his Juno (1)

I reckon these amount to a strong Vesta.

Ahh, HAAAAAH.

Well stated, Moonfish.

As we have URA-DESTINN rising on the cASC, 0º, it would indeed seem that much VESTA is needed.

Let's look at the synastry; his to mine first.

VESTA conjunct LILITH (0º)
VESTA conjunct MERCURY (3º)
VESTA opposite CHIRON (0º)
VESTA square NODES (1º)
VESTA square OSIRIS (1º)
VESTA square VESTA (2º)
VESTA square TISIPHONE (1º)
VESTA square HADES (1º)
VESTA sextile KAALI (1º)
VESTA semisextile VALENTINE (1º)

Then mine to his:

VESTA conjunct KARMA (1º)
VESTA conjunct VENUS (3º)
VESTA trine BML (0º)
VESTA trine MOON (3º)
VESTA sextile VALENTINE (0º)
VESTA sextile MARS (2º)
VESTA sextile LILITH (2º)
VESTA square NEPTUNE (2º)

Just a smattering.

Woah! Yes!
& we don't really have Saturn aspects, but are committed intensely

I have a 'grand trine' of Vesta, Venus, and Saturn, and my Vesta conjuncts his DC and Psyche.

My Vesta also exactly trines his Pluto, quincunxes his Saturn and opposes his Neptune, all 0 degrees.

His Vesta is in my 8th and squares my Sun, opposes my Chiron (0), trines my Pluto, and sextiles my Uranus.

In the composite Vesta is in the 7th, opposite Pluto trine Neptune, (and loosely sextile Moon 5 deg, Sun 6 deg, and opposite Mars 5 deg.)

And our Uranus aspects:
His Uranus in my 5th, mine in his 1st
my Sun and Mercury exactly conjunct his Uranus
my Moon and ASC trines his Uranus
My Uranus trines his Sun, Moon, Mercury
My Uranus quincunx his Venus, conjunct his Mars and sqaures his MC

Composite Uranus is sextile Sun and Mercury, opposite Moon, trine Venus and sextile Mars, quincunx South node
