Hello All!

Hope everyone had a wonderful time over the holidays with friends and family.

Would you please look at this chart and let me know if we even have a chance with all these oppositions and squares

We seem to have a very natural flow of conversation and clicked right from the start but so much red in the chart scares me...

Are there any other aspects that are perhaps binding or would override the oppositions?

I am in Blue and he is in Red.

Thank you in advance!

Well hopefully someone will come on who can give a clearer view, but...

You have Sun Moon opposite DW, and that's a good connection. It depends on the individual obviously but that can be meaningful. And as you have probably read before, some kind of connection is better than no connection!

Venus opposite Neptune could be rough. Just be aware. His Neptune on your ASC is nice, I've had that. It's easier when its in your first, which it is, as opposed to in your 12th.

Also, his venus is in your 7th, great for a relationship. And mercury and sun in your 8th- good for deep connection. His Saturn in your 8th depends on you. Could go both ways.

Is his birth time correct?

His Uranus on your Mars could be very fun and exciting sexually. But its square moon so this could be unreliable in some way. If you are uranian then it may not bother you as much as someone else. But with a cap moon, you might need more stability. But his Saturn opposite your moon might be more tolerable for you bcs you have a Cap moon. And his Saturn trines your Venus which is nice stability!

Thank you so much for your reply, Mereiposa!

Yes, both of our times of birth are correct with an exception of mine possibly being off by 5-10 minutes which would make my ASC to be in Scorpio in like late - 29-30 degrees....not sure if that matters....

What does it mean "if you are uranian?" Sorry I am not versed in astrological terminology.

Also, I am a bit concerned about his Venus. I've read that people with Venus in Gemini are always divided meaning they never know what it is that they want, kinda dual personality/preferences/love desires...Is that accurate?

Anyone else can chip in? Would greatly appreciate it!

Ok well you have more nice aspects, then! Your moon is near his DSC in the 6th. This can work well bcs DSC is similar to venus and your moon conjunct this gives a sweet connection between you two. 6th house can mean daily life, routine, household, work... but in relationships you will emotionally be there for him in this aspect of his life. And your Juno is in his 7th, so I think that means you represent someone to him he can feel committed to.

He's a Cancer ASC, Cancer Sun, with a Gem Venus. You have a Scorpio Venus. You may be looking for a little more depth than he gives, but that's ok. Other aspects can smooth this out maybe.

As for Gem Venus, my ex husband had this. He liked a lot of mental connection and valued light, airy fun. I am more intense than he is (lot of Scorpio, pluto, or 8th house in my chart) and so we had differences in what we sought. But this is not relationship ending. i can't speak to the duality of Gem venus personally, though I do tend to agree with what you're thinking. I think they can get bored easily.

Uranian- if one person has a lot of uranus happening in their natal chart (ASC in Aquarius, uranus contacting personal planets, or influence in Aqua or 11th house) then this person is used to the influence of Uranus and can handle it better than someone who doesn't have it.

Capricorn moon looks for stability. Saturn rules Capricorn, so typically Uranus is the opposite of this. He has a Pisces moon, so his moon is more governed by Neptune. Your Saturn is activated, and as the ruler of your moon, this provides a connection between you two. His Neptune is active between you two, so therefore the ruler of his moon is active. That's especially important for him bcs his chart ruler, Cancer, is governed by Moon.

Your chart ruler, would be Sagittarius, which is Jupiter. So you want to look to your Jupiter and see that it is active too. Unfortunately, his Neptune is in challenging aspect to your Mercury. And the only thing your Jupiter does is a sextile to his Pluto. This again isn't the end of it all, but sometimes its easier to see easier aspects here.

I do think you should watch out for the neptune square mercury. I have had that and it was rough. Sometimes deception, sometimes just misunderstandings. I hope this helps!

Well mereiposa pretty much covered everything there is to cover. When I read your title I thought "yeah a couple with too many oppositions isn't great" but you guys are born only two months apart (not counting the years) so many of your elements still match up. It's usually more difficult when hypothetically a Taurus wants to align the rest of their chart with a Scorpio.

I must say that I love the matching in your synastry. You're an earth Sun/earth Moon and he's a water Sun/water Moon, oppositions be damned I think that's very interesting. As mereiposa mentioned, Sun opp Moon is considered by many astrologers to be classically good synastry.

To continue with the mirroring, you're both nodal people. You're a Sun conj NN girl and he's a Venus conj SN guy.

I think you have the advantage in the synastry. With your Neptune conj his NN and opposite his Venus, I think he'll be particularly captivated by you (especially when we consider his Pisces Moon/Juno/Jupiter and how Pisces is also the sign of your SN). Then to add onto this, your Neptune is trine his Mars. I kind of get the vibe he's going to fall madly in love with you (but don't quote me on that )

I think you'll do fine with his Gemini Venus. I wouldn't personally date one, but you do have your super serious Scorpio Venus conjunct Uranus, so I'm sure you're not as obsessively clingy as a typical one. The fact your Mars is conjunct his Uranus means the relationship will always have some sort of unpredictable factor he can't help but find compelling.

Interesting how you're both Saturn/Mercury people.. have you guys admitted feelings for each other yet? If you both take that Love Languages quiz and you both score high on "words of affirmation", this relationship may be difficult in the sense that you both play your cards close to your chest.

Oh duh I just realized your both Moon/Juno people too! Damn I really think you need to give this relationship a chance. I actually kind of love the synastry here.

Oh my gosh! Thank you so much guys!! This is very helpful.

We haven't talked about our feelings....I sense that he is holding back, after all I hear Cancers are super guarded. Probably more so than Scorps? Even though I am a Virgo sun, but I identify with Scorpios a lot especially when it comes to personal and friends relationships - loyalty, intensity, all or nothing type of attitude. I find it that I am more open with my feelings now then when I was in my 20's, early 30's but I think I am also cautious as I don't want to show him that I like him so I don't appear clingy or "too much." I don't know if he is feeling that but he is pretty intuitive from what I can sense...

What do you think of our Venus trine Pluto? Is that a strong enough aspect to keep the bond strong/growing?

And you mentioned that his Venus falls into my 7th house while my Juno falls into his 7th house. Is that considered soulmate/marriage aspects?

Thank you again!

The only "dooming" aspect I see here is Moon opposite Saturn. Although luckily there are other nice saturn aspects that will probably dilute this. It's not a bad synastry. The composite will be important to see how things come about between you.
