so don't jump on me!

Anyway, I have noticed....ummm..."dynamics"....between parents and their children that varies WILDLY!

Some of these "dynamics" make me extremely uncomfortable without even being able to pinpoint exactly why but I know it's sexual in nature.

I am wondering if there's something in my chart that clashes with another chart, or makes me overly sensitive when no foul exists? What about the charts of the dynamics that make me uncomfortable and those that do NOT make me uncomfortable?

Has anyone else sensed these things?

You mean you feel weirded out by looking
at your parents charts because it feels like
you're peering in on their private/sensitive matters?

If I understood correctly, yes. I get
Weirded out learning things I feel uncomfortable about so I try to limit my research with my parents. In most areas. I look for basic info but sex and death (especially with my living parent) I prefer not to learn about.

I mean: why do some parent/child dynamics (or how they act together) creep me out and not others?
I am not talking about me and my own parents. I am talking about parents I meet on the street with their children.

No, I mean other parents and their children. Some of them have a weird relationship that creeps me out!

Right- I think that's because you probably have amazing perception and intuition and something is off.

some parents may not necessarily cross the line into sexual abuse with kids, but may rely on their children to fulfill inappropriate roles in their lives. Example- a mother missing the connection of a loving husband may rely on her son to fill the gap (expecting him to support her emotionally, or even to always be there physically to take care of her... placing too much burden on the child.)

I think if it makes you feel weird, there is most likely something off. It may not be horrible or physically inappropriate, but it may be emotionally or mentally inappropriate.

I get the same feeling when parents lack regard and respect for their child, and treat them as sub standard because they are "bratty kids" in the eyes of the parent. It makes me very uncomfortable.
