Hello everyone! I'm so excited to finally be able to post on here after following the site for years I'd love some insight into the opposition of Moons, particularly Libra and Taurus. I am a Libra Moon and I have found over the years that many of my acquaintances have a Taurus Moon. I say opposite because my Moon is at 27 degrees and my acquaintances are all within the first 5 degrees of Taurus. I can feel the tension as well as the comfort that this has. Since they are both ruled by Venus I thought maybe that could help soften the differences? I'd appreciate any thoughts! Thank you IP: Logged |

You write so well Taurus and Libra are both Libra ruled. Whilst one focuses a lot of attention on rapport and mending fences with those outside of themselves so that they can be at peace(Libra) Taurus on the other hand focuses more on themselves radiating the essence of stability /peace that they want reflected back with people they relate to. Libra often finds itself having to be the arbitrator to drama. Whilst Taurus Moon avoids and wants no drama whatsoever. This situation that you speak of is an "out of sign" opposition. Were Libra is nearing the cusp of Scorpio(Taurus' opposite sign). Somehow I do think the the qualities of the signs as they are play more of a role in the relationships that you have with Taurus Moon than the near cusp sign Scorpio. There are plenty reasons that Libra and Taurus get on; Both are eloquent Both want to bring beauty to their surroundings Both tend to avoid/minimize conflict Both are slow to anger Both are social Both are sweet natured and loved by others Both are usually endowed with good looks Both are romantic Both are sensual Both love the pleasures of life. Both are pretty uncomplicated. Usually neither are tense. What is this tension that you speak of? Use an example. IP: Logged |

Thank y'all! That explanation was wonderful, thank you. I actually have a good example that happened today. A Sagittarius Sun, Taurus Moon man I work with came to my office with some stuff for us to review. We are having to travel for a project in the upcoming weeks for 3 days. The meeting will only take 2 of the days so the 3rd day leaves of us to plan at our leisure while still being in contact with the company. No matter how many times we tried to make an itinerary or to plan out the days he refused to accept any schedule other than his own! This included working around some "personal" things he wanted to fit in. Six hours later and I became so frustrated I closed the discussion to go over another day. That is one of many similar issues. I'm aware of the stubborn and fixed nature but I guess I figured his Venusian peace-loving/chill tendencies might be a good mix for me. IP: Logged |
