I really would appreciate some thoughts on these charts please. I’m not objective here so curious to know

* if the nature of the relationship can be seen i.e. how they met and what type of relationship they have can be seen in the synastry chart (obviously I know this but will confirm if someone posts accurately)
* how to interpret the squared MC/IC points and squared AC/DC points in synastry
* each seems to be missing an element in the planets (earth and air) the other is abundant in - is this complementary or generally difficult?
* the good and bad points that jump out - to be aware of

* good and bad points for the composite but whether it is a difficult composite overall?

I realise I may have asked a few questions upfront but I am struggling with some of it. Anything you can contribute or anything else you think relevant would be appreciated. Girl is blue.

Thank you!

I WhiteMoon

venus is square to pluto with pluto on the descendant. this is a difficult aspect for a relationship because the emotional sensitivity is not equal to the physical attraction .pluto shows a high degree of selfishness which usually does not bond well in relationships .initially this aspect does give a extremely potent sexual chemistry but usually the sexual desire falls off for one of the partners after the emotional intimacy does not become stronger with increased sex, loses interest in sex . this does not preclude a relationship, but the relationship will not keep the sexual intensity and often celibacy is the result. I have seen marriages with this aspect that survived but there was nota sexual life.

this may be surprising because the mars/venus midpoint is square to the psyche/eros midpoint which is just about as emotional/physically attractive an aspect as you can get, as this combines physical love/sexuality with a "higher", idealistic, spiritual, romantic connection.

with the satrun/moon midpoint square to mercury, there seems to be a acknowledgement of a feeling of steadiness between you.with mercury conjunct the vertex,it seems that you have a very strong mental connection.
in addition the Jupiter/juno midpoint is square to the vertex also, so there must be feelings 0r at least talk that the relationship could become serious.

my feeling are than currently the relationship is not going well because the mercury/Uranus midpoint is square to Saturn.

and currently the node is conjunct to Saturn which suggest he is having second thoughts about this relationship or he is being distant and and non communicative .
it is possible that arguments or differences have broken out recently also.

Hi Todd

Thank you for your analysis. It is an emotional affair at the moment separated by being in different locations and the girl being married. The communication has always been at a slow pace and now there is discussion she has raised about her emotional dependency on the man. I think Saturn/Uranus/Mercury might point to unpredictability in confidence and career.

Sadly, your analysis sounds like if it would develop further than it will be a repeat of themes in the first marriage. Unfortunately I don’t have a correct birthday let alone time of birth for the husband..

You are very correct about the feeling of steadiness in the connection. From the outset both gave the impression that this would be emotionally serious. Do you think there is a possibility that they could be happy staying as platonic friends?

this is a verydifficult question nto speculate on, but generally I would say no, I platonic relationship is not viable because there are such strong impulses for commitment with the juno/Jupiter midpoint conjunct the Saturn/moon midpoint square to the vertex and mercury.in addition with the sun/mars/child stellium , it seems he would want a child with her, so I don't think that if they continue to relate as "friends" that he could stop himself From trying to pursue a more intimate relationship at the risk of destabilizing her current marriage.

Thanks again Todd

That was unexpected but interesting info.

Composites are a new learning curve for me.

I notice you always seem to use midpoints? Is this more insightful in Composites than the actual houses? And are midpoints also important in Synastry?

I just find midpoints always worked for me.i like to use the image of a onion as a chart,.there are many layers, some are houses, some are signs, some are aspects, midpoits etc, but it is always the same onion.

it does seem that midpoints work very well for composites, possibly because they are of the same midpoint nature.but they work on natals also. don't forget that Claudius ptolmey maded reference to midpoints nearly 2000 years ago.
and then more recently Ebertin based astrological system on midpoints

Hmm, I think I need to read about some of the historical references for astrology. I’ve been more interested in the Greek mythology side. Thanks again you’ve given me plenty to think about
