I have a question regarding angle aspects, especially when it's a double-whammy on either side!

In a recent synastry chart I did with a guy I've known for a while - via work - I came across something very interesting.

We have Ascendant Opposite Ascendant. He is Scorpio Rising, with Taurus Falling (Descending?) while I am a Taurus Rising, Scorpio Falling (Descending).

What makes this doubly interesting is the fact that our IC's and MC's are literal opposites of one another as well, though they do not aspect. His IC is Aquarius while his MC is Leo. MY IC is Leo while my MC is Aquarius.

So, in the synastry chart, we ASC Opposite ASC but also ASC Square MC DW (which I take to mean that the IC's are squared as well due to these aspects since what happens on one side of any angle is bound to be reflected on the other end of the axis).

Would this count as a Grand Cross or would that only refer to planets and not the angles?

Also, MY NN is Aquarius while my SN is Leo. Does not aspect his IC/MC angle, though it's only 7 degrees away. However, I feel this makes sense since my soul's true purpose of evolving would not have anything to do with his family life, how he was nurtured, or any real estate ventures...nor would my SN have any impact with his possible career path, reputation in the world, and his ability to deal with the public.

HOWEVER, his NN is in Scorpio while his SN is in Taurus...His SN conjuncts my Ascendant while his NN conjuncts my Descendant.

While neither NN or SN make an aspect to one another, but still makes a X/Cross pattern in the synastry chart, would that also count as a Grand Cross as well? Or just impact the angle contacts more? Thanks very much for your time, cooperation, and help!
