I just can't figure out why he's so incredibly cold towards me. He asks me to do things for him which I happily do. But when I ask him to do things for me it is a huge struggle and a lot of times he'll just lie and say he did it when he didn't... and he'll still ask me for something in the same breath!

We spent so much time together over the years as friends (and as more than friends at one point) but he can be incredibly cold and unemotional towards me. I didn't think it was possible for someone that you see so often for years and years can treat you like you just don't matter to them.

I am concerned about your Moon-Nep conjunct in 3rd house that is intent on overlooking the abuse (even obsessively). And he ain't worth the trouble.

Moon-Mars opp on your side suggests an attraction to his Moon in Aries perhaps?

Maybe even his Sun/Merc conj drew your Mars in Gem? And his North node in Sag opp your Mars is quite a pull too.

But he has Sat square Moon, Saturn opp Venus. So he doesn't let love in. Not without being extremely suspicious of it. Many walls up.

Add the worrying Uranus-Mars opp which can make him arrogant about doing what he wants, when he wants. And answering to no-one.

Temper issues are also suggested by this aspect. Especially when we add Chiron in Aries to the mix("macho man" tendencies)

I know that his Jupiter is close to your 5th. That's hot. And your Aries DSC is on some primal level attracted to the "He-Man".

Keep him as a friend. If you want more,he can hurt you because he is not consistent. There are too many hoops to jump through here.

As stated we are not romatically involved and I have no plans to be so with him. No interest in it whatsoever.

We are friends... but that's what's painful. He will ask me to hold his hand in the hospital when he needs tests done... but if I'm the one in the hospital he's no where to be found and doesn't even give me a phone call to ask how I'm doing. To me that's not a real friend at all.

The thing is that he has shattered my world view. Before him I didn't think it was humanly possible for someone to know another person and see them on an almost daily basis for over 10 years and be completely indifferent about them. Before him I would've said such a person didn't exist. Now I see that a person of this sort can exist, but it doesn't make any sense to me.. so now it's like the whole world doesn't make any sense anymore.
