If there is a conjunction aspect between two planets in synastry. But the two planets aren't conjunct by sign does that aspect still count? Like if one person Sun is in Taurus and the other persons Jupiter is in Aries. Would this aspect still count if there is a conjunction?

Yes, it counts. They might even be in the same sign without our knowledge since the signs are approximations. Look up Precision of the Equinox.

Of course it counts. the planets are still next to each other. But you want to make sure the orbs are tight. I would not consider any aspects over 5 degree orb.

I wouldn't count it, neighboring signs represent completely different energies and so I can't imagine planets in different signs "talking" to each other no matter how tight the orb is. But I do consider very wide orbs in the same sign since they share the same energy.

Yes especially if you look into declinations.

I just discovered my Venus (late Gem) is parallel my boyfriends Mars (late Taurus) which from a zodiac/degree standpoint they would not be conjunct but a parallel is similar to a planet being conjunct.

I see I guess it depends the astrologer Jewel said that 8 degree conjunctions would still count. Some people say it does because it's the Sun.
