Well I like that his Saturn and Mars are supporting your Moon.

I feel like he's not going to understand you. He's not going to see you correctly, and that could interfere. Now, he's also quite a bit older so maybe he has learned to settle in to his role as a therapist (I hope!!!!)

But his Mars Saturn conjunction is opposing your Jupiter, your beliefs. This could relate to disdain, or disagreeing with your views. He will pull you back a little in that regard?

What I do like is his Sun/Mercury/Venus in concordance with your Sun/Mercury/Mars. It's a nice resonance of energy. But your Uranus/Neptune is not in harmony with his Jupiter, his beliefs.

This could go either way. He could help you see things from a totally different perspective and help you to understand your concerns in a new way, which could certainly help you. But this could also manifest as a poor fit. There are a lot of aspects between your charts that indicate struggle and differences. At the same time, there's a paternalistic feeling here. A fatherly/grandfatherly feel.

And he does have an Aries moon, so it can support your Aries stellium. Add to that you also have a wide Saturn Mars conjunction. So you both have more reserved actions, which could make you feel comfortable here. Your Virgo moon needs some support though. I think you will be able to express yourself, but will you feel supported?

I say go see him, and follow your gut. You need to feel comfortable with whomever you end up with and that is more important than anything else.

Thank you, mereiposa. You brought up some of the same concerns that I had while looking at this synastry. I don’t like how his Mars/Saturn square my mercury, either. I feel like I might get on his nerves.

But, I will go and see him anyway.

Thank you.

Loving the Chiron-Neptune conjunction.

I think the Mars square may be that he really pushes you to work on yourself. He'll set you a lot of targets and actions for you to work on that you may not feel ready for.

Pluto trining your Mars tells me that he will shake you up in a good way. You don't want to have a whole load of appeasing trines in this kind of relationship. If you want to work through stuff then you'll likely have to face some parts of yourself/your history that are uncomfortable.

Healing is painful at first but that Neptune conjunct your Chiron is empathic, just as his Saturn-Mars sextile your Moon will make you feel stronger.

Trust your instincts, but try to trust his too. :-)

Thank you, waxlobster. I’m feeling a bit more confident about seeing him this week. I just hope everything goes well.

Thank you.

I agree, you don't want trines and happy flowing stuff necessarily for therapy. Though I wouldn't mind a trine between pluto and mercury!

Thanks for the bump, Randall. I ended up not going due to car trouble, but I might reschedule for a better time.
