Is there an end to the suffering when these aspects occur?
I understand with the conjunction that even if it hurts at least we can learn from each other because of the similarities.
But with squares and oppositions there's just... pain.

I have a Moon/Chiron DW with someone I try to build a friendship. My Chiron oppositions their Moon and their Chiron squares my Moon. And no matter how much we try we inadvertently hurt each other regardless of our intentions.

There's no getting around the pain. So is there a point to having harsh Chiron in synastry? Are there relationships that survived them? How did you manage it?

Chiron doesn't affect me negatively because I had to clean house when I was young. Once I cleaned house, the good stuff happens. If someone is carrying around baggage, it could make it tough unless someone has a strong will power and can override it.
