My partner has this ability. It bothers me a lot. He is able to see through me. He is able to get through my defenses and hit right where it hurts. He knows when I am subconsciously projecting past hurts into him and calls me out for it. It’s not a bad thing necessarily. It just makes me feel so uncomfortable. There’s things I don’t want to admit to myself and he pulls it right from under the rug and slams it in my face. He’s forcing me to grow out of it. He is able to verbalize what I have internalized but am not consciously aware of. I retaliate by arguing back and trying to rationalize it. At the end of it all, I know I sound like a dumb*ss but I don’t want him to be right about me. But he is.I have done this to him in the beginning. I don’t know what happened, but I just kinda stopped out of nowhere. Now he’s the one doing it to me. I have only met a handful of people that are able to see through me (mostly temporary people). But to do so and call me out on it at the same time is crazy. He triggers parts of me that I don’t want to face. What can account for this in synastry? I don’t have significant 8th house contacts with him, as far as I know. I have Venus in his 4th, but I highly doubt that’s enough to indicate such. IP: Logged |

Nessus? It sounds like it could be hot. Rare to find someone that can do that. But there is a caveat. Must trust the person.IP: Logged |

I don’t usually use asteroids but I just checked it. He has Nessus in Sag conjunct my Pluto. Also it makes a trine to my Sun. IP: Logged |

Can you post your synastry SLQ? Such sensitivity usually isn't just due to one aspect but rather multiple natal points that he's likely activating in your synastry. I have a feeling Chiron and any 12H placements might be the culprit but posting the charts would be a better place to start.IP: Logged |

Very cool synastry. Sun conjunct sun, ASC conjunct ASC, and moon opposite moon alone are enough to suggest you see so much of yourselves in each other that it’s easy to both project and reflect in your relationship. When he sees into you, he’s pointing out things he sees in himself. Just keep that in mind. If it makes you uncomfortable, ask yourself what gives him the need to do that — it’s a power/deflecting thing — it’s much more about him than about you.IP: Logged |

I completely forgot about those two conjunctions. I remember telling him how I hated that our charts were so similar because there’s no dynamic to compare (even with some of our planets being different). We are also so alike that sometimes, our personalities clash. But that’s just the way it is. I thought it could have been the Moon-Moon opposition too, but I wondered if that was enough to indicate such. IP: Logged |
