Would 8th house overlays in synastry make two people feel comfortable talking about things in regards to sex? Like if one of my personal planets are in their 8th house? It’s not only discussions about sex. Just things about me in general.

Maybe if Mercury was part of the overlay to the 8th, or a personal planet was connected to Mercury in the 8th. Could be a trine or sextile aspect there, but more likely a trine if it was effortless.

In my own chart I do have Mercury in the 8th house which sextile my Moon. Is that what you mean?

What's going on in your partners chart? Does your Mercury make any contacts to their personal planets? Like Jupiter?

My Mercury in Aries conjuncts their Jupiter in Aries. But the orb is 8 degrees but it's applying.

That would still encourage it. What about your own Jupiter? Does it aspect that connection as well?

This is a healthy thing to have in a close relationship. Being able to talk openly about 8th house topics keeps it fresh I would think.

My Jupiter is in my 8th house and it conjuncts Mercury. Yes I agree but how would it make the other person feel? Is this like having Mercury in the 8th house in synastry?
