I apologise if this is an idiotic question, but I apparently need someone to explain to me how Composite planets are calculated (sorry for being dumb!).I'm confused because my ex boyfriend has a Pisces Moon (late Pisces at 29 degrees). My Moon is in Virgo. Our Composite moon was in the sign of Gemini. I just started seeing a new man who also has a Pisces Moon (18 degrees). When I checked our Composite, our Composite Moon is in Sagittarius. Is there a reason why the midpoint went in opposite directions here? What factors changed the direction of the calculation? Thanks in advance 🙂 IP: Logged |

Gemini and Sagittarius both square Virgo and Pisces. This is significant, because the composite Moons for both composites would definitely be a sign that's square as a result of the two Moon signs being in opposing signs. The reason for the opposite Moon sign is the degree of the second man's Moon, which is an earlier degree of Pisces and impacts the math to the point it goes in the opposite direction. It's worth noting that the first man's Moon was in a very late degree of Pisces and it was getting very close to entering Aries. Its closeness to Aries is likely what made the first composite have a Gemini Moon. Someone else can probably explain what math was specifically involved to achieve opposing results. I'm not a math person so someone that is would have an easier time explaining it. IP: Logged |

Thanks, Lerena! That actually makes perfect sense!!! You've got me thinking that the placement of my moon is what may be setting the direction of the Composite moon.My moon is at 21 degrees Virgo. So, likely, a Pisces moon at 29 degrees would direct the Composite moon toward the Gemini side of that square. Whereas, a Pisces moon at 18 degrees (less than my moon at 21 degrees) would tip the Composite moon toward to other direction. I just "tested" my thought with another person who has their moon in 11 degrees Pisces and sure enough...our Composite moon is in Sagittarius. This was really helpful Aww, thanks hypatia238! <3 IP: Logged |
