Mercury opposes more things than Mars so perhaps some argumentativeness is an issue at times? On the other hand, could just be a very mentally active or communicative thing as well. Astrodienst liked to flip some composite oppositions to opposite house as well so not sure if the one mentioned is the Sun there or what.

the composite is unusual in that it is almost entirely made up of oppositions.
this indicates to me that it is a "make or break" relationship. that is the individuals will either grow extremely close or they will split apart. kind of like no in between.

squares are very hard to resolve but oppositions give the opportunity to understand and modify ones emotional stance to encompass another's attitude or sensitivities. the alternative is that the individuals respective viewpoints do not modify and all you have is dissension and argument.

generally it seems this relationship would be very intense but brief because of the Uranus/sun midpoint conjunct to venus and mercury.

mercury conjunct to venus gives a necessity within the relationship to be totally open and honest about how one feels but more than that, this conjunction demands that the individuals open up the inner most recesses of their minds and hearts and to each other.

additionally chiron is very analytical and critical. so if ones behavior does not reflect their words, then the other partner is quick to bring this contradiction out. this emotional and mental intimacy can make for a feeling of soul mate when both partners are committed to revealing the deepest truths and fears to each other.
but when this clarity is not present, then disagreements and arguments can turn incredibly hurtful because both know each other strengths and more importantly, each others weakness.when arguing, criticisms can cut to the quick and lead to immediate emotional estrangement.

with a strong chiron component, it is often easy to see if the relationship is going down hill ,because one of the partners may begin to constantly and needlessly criticize the partner.

so the given composite , to me is a very difficult one, as it has the Uranus aspect of intensity but brevity , and it has the volatile critical nature of chiron/mercury.
