I have an empty 4H in Aquarius. I spent my teenage years living on the streets and early 20's in boarding houses (not enjoyable experiences).

So I have decided now, to get my a$$ in gear and start saving for a house!

I know about free will and all when it comes to astrology and won't let that be a deciding factor for home ownership, but maybe my empty 4H might make it difficult?

I do have asteroid house in the 4H, maybe this will help?

The last ten years of my life, houses and housing situations have been a huuuuge issue in my life - I couldn't decide where I should settle, and when I did, I couldn't settle there. Two romantic relationships dissolved with conflicts regarding home, cohabitation and housing situations.

Until last year, and except my parents' house of course, all living spaces I had were temporary. I was extremely frustrated about this, but ultimately always found myself putting more emphasis on education or professional prospects which didn't make settling down in a living space easy. I chalk up to this last year's change to Saturn in my 4th house (I'm a Libra sun).

I often thought I could benefit from a few grounding planets and aspects in my natal 4th house. I'm all 10th house go go go, but I truly needed a space to call my own. I'm glad I was finally able to decide and stay somewhere. I feel so much grounded and able to truly get out in the world.

Make the effort if you can, one's own space, however big or small or whatever it looks like, is the biggest luxury imagineable.

Best of luck in re-building your natal 4th It is possible.

it wasn't until I was 28 that I became more stable in my living arrangements. Maybe it had to do with Saturn return... until then I was everywhere and all over the country.

Turning 40 has given me a real wake up call!! I need to take responsibility for my finances which means I can buy a house.

Grew up in Pacific NW, lots of rain and gloom. Moved around a lot while there. Recurrent theme of toxic elements in home. Constant smoker parents' air pollution in home as child. Moved away, never to return, in early 20's. Over the years, industrial development began spewing toxic by-products into owned apartment. Owned two houses that were both affected by electromagnetic pollution. Current owned residence has toxic insulation below floor from invasion by pests.

I have an empty 4th house but my IC ruler Mars conjuncts Venus in the 8th so I was lucky that I was approved for a loan even though my income to debt ratio was very tight. My lender was able to get it to happen.

That's awesome, Hypatia238! I got pre-approved for a mortgage, but not enough to get something decent in my hometown. So its been delayed until I pay off some debt and get my debt to income ratio at a better place. I have Aries IC w/ Aries Mars conjunct the IC. Hope once T. Uranus is out of the 4th H - things will stabilize.

Have you looked at your progressed chart? It could give some clues too.

I also dream of owning my own house one day. If not a house, an apartment will do. But it has got to be something that I can call "my own".

Look also to 2nd house of things tangible because that is the area of life where we want little to change (barring Uranus or Pluto aspects)

When my parents bought a home all those years ago as a kid and we moved in, trans Saturn was in Aqua (in my 10th)

No real difficulties with accommodation though as Moon is conjunct the Ic and Venus/Saturn/Mars/Mercury all form aspects to it.

I have yet to own my own home though as the one I live under is my parent's(Moon). Sigh!

While married we owned several homes. Last November, I bought my first home on my own. I don't know how this connects to my 4th house in Pisces. Neptune is in my 1st, squaring my Venus Mars midpoint.... I got nothing!

such a paradox! neptune and the 6th!...I don't know how it manifests!

I've always lived in normal houses, but they've always had a magic factor to them and there was always remodeling to make the place nicer and more unique

I don't own a home myself yet...but I've looked at a lot of houses...I have decided that I prefer to buy a land somewhere remote and private, and build a house that I have designed myself

I wasn't born into a rich family and as a baby I lived in two or three different rented basements with my parents...I have pluto in the 4th in scorpio exactly opposite my sun!...when I was 3 or 4 years old my parents were finally able to rent bigger homes and eventually buy one (which they sold and bought a new one 3 times)

we moved around a lot I'd say, there is no house where I have a lot of nostalgia or nice memories in

I am an architect/interior designer myself and I have designed according to a lot of other people's tastes and orders

but I have finally come up with the perfect layout for my own house...it's sort of astrologically designed!....I wish to find the right land soon! (which might be harder than I think considering the fact that I'm not sure yet if I want to stay in this country!)

but I always dream about it!

right now if you come into the places that I rent, they're pretty simple and laid back, but with quite many DIY objects and decors around that I have made myself...oh and yeah, dark curtains all over the windows...because I can't stand too much light!

my 2nd house is empty, but I have taurus sun in the 10th, Cancer venus in the 11th and Cancer SN in the 12th
