Hi guys,I would appreciate your insight into the following matter. I am an aquarius rising with Jupiter and Saturn in the 7th house. My saturn is the apex planet in the T-square that it forms with my Venus in 4th house (taurus) and Neptune in 10th house (scorpio). Now, in synastry, my bf's Mercury falls into my 7th house. His Mercury conjuncts my natal Saturn in 7th which is the apex planet in my natal T-square. His Mercury, just like my natal Saturn, squares my Venus and Neptune. So, my question is what impact does his Mercury have by conjuncting the apex planet of my natal T-square? Since his Mercury conjuncts my apex planet does that mean that he could assit me in overcoming this T-square? Or would it increase the tension of my T-square? Also, he is Gemini rising so Mercury is his Asc ruler and Saturn is my Asc ruler(apex planet of my T-square). Both of our asc rulers conjuncting in my 7th house and emphazing my natal T-square must mean something important right? Thank you!

There's little written out there about T-squares, and I'm not familiar with the technical language you're using to describe all these aspects. So for me personally, I'm not able to follow your question. Sorry - I do know a bit about T-squares, but may be too advanced for me.I tried! ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... IP: Logged |

It's both bad and good, yes he will be able to help you with your T-Square, but there will be increased energy to that area of your life. That may cause friction between you.His Gemini Ascendant is very compatible with your 4th house Venus in Taurus, A good astrologer to try is Ian, ian888@shaw.ca You have now graduated to serious astrology and only a serious student of astrology would be able to give you all the answers you need. He is freindly, and a Sag, Tell him I sent you with a question, Natasha Taurus IP: Logged |

Thanks guys for responding!Astro J, I appreciate the effort Natasha, Thanks for the recommendation. I'll give the astrologer a try. One question, why is his Gemini ASC compatible with my 4th house Taurus Venus? Those are adjacent signs, and i've always read that adjacent signs are totally different from each thus not compatible. But lately i've heard a couple of ppl on this forum regarding adjacent signs as compatiable. Can you please explain why? Thanks!

I'm not sure why Natasha said that. I'm curious too. Venus when in Taurus is in it's native ruler. This means it will be a strong influence, and should make you a person sensitive to decorum in word and action, especially in romance, with a taste for lavishness and endulgence, and preferring refinement of manners and an air of sophistication in your partner (and possibly also a fat wallet complete which generous spirit too ). While your partner may possess these qualities, I seriously doubt it comes from his Gem ASC. Gemini is not known for refinement or decorum, usually gets quickly bored with a Taurean tendency toward endulgence, and any "air of sophistication" a Gemini might display is often for show only (also, most Gemini-influenced men are poor with money, which Taurean-influenced women tend to frown upon). All of this would seriously irritate the strong, sensual sensibilities of Taurus, unless there are other aspect to smooth things out. Seeing that the 4th house is ruled by the moon, and dealing with domestic issues and responsibly, I can't see how that would be very compatible with the care-free and emotionally detached spirit of Gemini, unless this Gemini is ready to be tied down. Certainly a Taurean Venus in the 4th house could provide a lot of stablity for Gemini, which it natively lacks to a serious fault, but usually Geminian personalities resist such stablity until they are more mature (that is, if they mature ). Hi, I think maybe he would be the one to feel the pressure, but he would also support your expression... CiaoKay9 IP: Logged |

How did this go?I think that, because both rulers are conjunct, there will be an affinity. I wonder though, what's the condition of the bf's Mercury?? That's a vital point I think. As someone said elsewhere, in interpersonal astrology, in a thread on this topic (CapriciousCapricorn?): The full story can be told seeing how these other natal planets are accustomed/supported (or not), to the tension that comes with a t-square. Eg, if bf's Mercury is just sitting there minding it's own business with lots of trines, getting sucked into a t-square vortex may come as a bit of a surprise? IP: Logged |
