Is it possible for Venus to be conj Asc but still be in 12th house? Or cusp-wise, due to its super proximity, is Venus then considered in 1st house?Also, any experiences about this cusp placement? ------------------

Yes. My understanding is that anything within 5 degree orb will filter down into 1st House. I personally have this situation with natal Mars--and 1st House interpretation fits better than 12th House. However, Mars is part of a 3 planet stellium with other two planets in 12th House. And major aspects from Sun and Uranus applying toward ASC. quote:

Uh Mars in 12th house must be quite frustrating, like a motor trying to run under water. My natal Mars is in 1st house too! People have been telling me I'm a -quietly- yet singularly tenacious and driven person but it wasn't until I grasped my Mars in 1st that I kind of agreed. I seriously had no idea what they meant or see when people told me that. I also have Neptune in 1st though, perhaps that's why I find it hard to pinpoint people's impressions of me, even when they're very vocal about it. How do you find your Mars in 1st affects you?
Also, is the 5 deg orb true for synastry and composite as well, do you think? IP: Logged |

5 degree orb seems to work in synastry--not certain for midpoint composite.My Leo Mars rising makes me warm hearted, cordial, passionate, and sexually loving. For more conservative lovers, too hot to handle.  quote:
