He's been my work mentor for the last 13 months. I used to find him too intense and overwhelming but as we've gotten closer I've become used to his energy.

Nothing has happened between us. I'm mad on him but not sure how he feels about me. He generally acts like a close work friend but then I feel that 8th house vibe...

We actually fell out a few days ago when he questioned my professional integrity. I thing this was just an excuse to sting me to stop me getting too close.

Is this even worth resolving/pursuing? Any thoughts appreciated.

I don't use photobucket, imgur.com has the BBcode for forums and uplouds with the picture showing if you use that code but let me see if I can help you. For some reason it worked for me. Not sure what I did different.

Interesting that there is a repeated theme of nessus and dejanira in the davison/composite/sysnatry and he is your work mentor. It would be unethical for him to act on his desire for you because he is your mentor and this is why nothing has happened in 13 months, he could also lose his job which is just never worth it. He knows that is a boundary he should not cross even though he is nessus and he is respecting that boundary.

I don't think he will cross that boundary given the amount of time that has passed and the 7th house ruler aspects in your Davison Chart. The DC ruler in Davison is Venus which conjuncts exact the Sun (MC RULER) in the 10th house, a career house, it also conjuncts widely Jupiter the ruler of the 2nd house (another career house) all in virgo to top it off so the destiny of the relationship is work related. Even the NORTHNODE is in virgo in the 10th house. Add that chiron is in the 7th showing that pain of not been able to be together you perhaps feel or that he helps you with your healing process in a professional setting as the rest of the chart supports.

My conclusion is that yes you should forget about this and respect the boundaries that he is your mentor and find someone else outside of work to fantasize about and flirt with.

Wow thanks, that was really insightful, especially (scarily!) your last part of finding someone else to flirt with.

There are definite undercurrents of power issues between us which I feel, as you've said, are kept in check by the professional nature of our relationship. But it's really magnetic - I feel like the moth to his flame and whenever I've tried to pull back he's drawn me in again.

I imagine if something did ever happen between us we'd go from 0 to 100 pretty quickly - either happy ever after...or the depths of hell.

Thanks for re-posting my pics. 🙂

Zero to a 100 fits with Moon conjunct Pluto square Mars/dejanira/Nessus stellium.

Good Luck finding someone new

I disagree, with respect......

Astrology aside, if both people are single and there’s no moral infringement, him being her mentor is certainly not a deal breaker when initiating a relationship.

For context, I had the most intense and passionate experience with my supervisor; although this didn’t go the distance it has changed my way of thinking for the better. It was beautiful. Additionally, my work colleague got together with his line report; they have been together for 6 years who now have a child.

It depends I am therapist and would lose my privilege to practice if I get involved with client period, is a huge ethical boundary that cannot be crossed ever. He is a mentor, I don't know what his credentials are or the policy at their job to get involved with their clients but IME experience is always a NO NO and this would explain why in spite of the intense Davison he has not acted on his desire for her. When nessus conjuncts dejanira there is a usually a boundary ethical dilemma.

Are you his client? or are you coworkers but he mentors you? if you are co-workers but he mentors you what is the policy at your job around this?

I am glad you enjoyed it but is usually a terrible idea to sleep with your supervisor

It worked out for you great but is usually a very bad idea.

We're co-workers but he mentors me. I don't think it's prohibited but it's not really the done thing either.

Okay then there is hope. Perhaps when he stops mentoring you he would be more open to initiating something then. NN in the 10th tends to have very high professional standards.

Is he single?

Especially if he is in a relationship he will not risk having a scandal at work that could hurt his career and how people perceive him as a professional. Like I said he has NN in Leo in the 10th, he likes to be a leader and set a good example, he has high professional standards.

No, neither of us are single. He does have a girlfriend, but I'd never meddle in this. I'm not into affairs or splitting up relationships...but sometimes people move on...

It makes sense what you've said about his 10th house Leo and the ethical boundary.

In all honesty, I would not force the situation. I would wait till the opportunity arose itself, organically.

If this happens. Take the opportunity and **** his brains out 😁

Getting involved with your supervisor is a bad idea. I guess if you just have a job (instead of a career) and it doens't matter to you a lot your position then maybe you don't get why that is a bad idea but if you have invested in your career a lot and you value your job you would understand right away why is a bad idea. The supervisor is putting themselves at risk for been sued for sexual harassment, they have more to lose bc they have invested more in their career and that is their bread and butter, they could end up losing their job as a supervisor over a good f*ck; supervisors are definitely not suppose to fuc* their employees. The person who has less to lose would be taken less seriously professionally and may not advance in their career bc of it or be accused of advancing bc they slept with the boss. Its not fatalistic, is reality.

Yes sweetie, now that nessus/dejanira repeated theme makes extra sense . There is too much for him to lose by going for it with you. Now if you both end your relationships somewhere down the line and you are working somewhere else it could happen but the fact the timing is off now its already indicative it will probably never take off.

Honestly when it comes down to it the Davison does not show that this relationship will go beyond friends and co-workers type of relationship, its heavily touching career houses, DC ruler is in career house, NN is in a career house and even that Moon conjunct Pluto is in the 11th, the house of friendship.

I’m sorry, but you have made quite a leap with your assumption.

A relationship can happen in the work place, it does not render it as sexual harassment. What an irrational/absurd hing to say.

Similarly, it is not illegal either. This happens all the time.

I think you need to relax.

Someone who is a supervisor or in a position of power and sleeps with people who are under them is definitely putting themselves at risk for getting sued for sexual harassment, it is a risk they are taking for sure even if it was consensual when it happened. I am relaxed, I am simply been honest. One thing is two people sleeping together who work in the same workplace and another is a supervisor sleeping with the people they supervise, that is always a bad idea, hey like I said I am happy for you that you enjoyed it and that it worked out for you and did not hurt their career or yours to do that but this is definitely a risk and inappropriate and unprofessional.

Sleeping with your boss puts both of you in a vulnerable position and is distracting and it would make it harder to do your jobs effectively and not engage in favoritism. Its unethical for good reason.

Ok, so this is quite an important bit of info and changes the complexion of the original post, drastically.

I would have certainly said stay out of it.

Or............. wait till you’re both single and **** his brains out!!! Hahaha

Again, you’re making quite a few leaps to fit your original argument.

Going back to my earlier post, if both parties are single and there isn’t any moral infringement, a relationship can work out in the workplace.
