Yikes I really don’t like this new synastry. Are you positively sure that’s the right time!? Super weird
I’m not seeing that much interest or real attraction on his side?

That’s what he says. I actually like it. Our 1st and 7th rulers aspect each other. The only thing that changed were houses, and I fall in his 7th and 8th. And him in mine. I think it makes a lot for more sense!

... you don’t have anything in Taurus or Gemini though, his 5th and 7th house cups. His Venus is also Gemini.
I have my doubts about his true level of interest, but I hope I’m wrong and it works out you match his 8th the most, but that’s mainly about sex. So I feel he wants to be intimate with you but not much more.
The 8th house stellium in composite kinda shows this too, the sexual element. This looks like a hot fling at best, but again, keep us updated and I do hope it leads to more 👍😇

My Jupiter in his 7th? That's actually a good link in my opinion. And with Mercury/Gemini on his cusp, I am aspecting it in semi sextile with my Venus, which is my DSC ruler.

I may not have anything in Gem, but if you look his Gem Venus is in 6th house. 6th house is ruled by Virgo. My Venus and Mars are in Virgo. We are both Sun Jupiter people, and while he is a Sag ASC and clearly meeting my need there, I am a Mercury in 9th, so a Sag influence. My Mercury also trines his ASC. His Moon is conjunct Saturn and I am a Cap Moon. I think these are subtle influences here that make an impact, but I that's my opinion. Secondary houses and influences are something to consider. Parallels too, which we have.

He actually is and has been more committed than me. He's serious, not after a fling. It is in his actions as much as his words. Of course, time will tell.

also, in composite, Venus and North node conjunct Vertex. I didn't show vertex on this one.

Those are interesting symbolisms though subtle. And I noticed your Venus squares his Venus.

---------------------------------------

For my synastry with my guy, besides both ways Asc-Dsc contacts we have, his chart ruler (Moon) is also in 3rd house (Mercury/Gemini) and I've Venus/Asc in Gemini, trine his Moon. His Moon also conjuncts my Pluto in 5th house.

My Moon/Neptune are in 7th (Libra) house which is the sign of his Moon. My Moon also trine his Dsc ruler Saturn in 2nd house (Taurus that's my Sun/Mercury/Juno) and conjunct his 5th house Neptune. My own Saturn (8th house ruler) is also in 2nd house squaring his Moon. Our Moons are sextile by signs. My sun-moon midpoint falls in his 8th house. His Juno also conjuncts my NN out of sign.

Do you think these are significant symbolisms?

Post your chart Hikaru, or link me to your thread if you already did? Lots White talked a lot about symbolism.

Thanks for the thread. Very educational posts from Lotis White!

I have my chart here. - http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/240211-3.html

I just noticed a few of my planets (incl Sun/Mercury) fall in my guy's 10th house which is his secondary Dsc house.

I also saw pattern completions in both our charts which supposedly make the parties highly attracted to each other? I dug out an old thread - http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/000427-5.html

His Moon-Chiron-Saturn conjunction is a huge deal in his life, it also squares Mars and will have given him a lot of confidence knocks and vulnerabilities in relationships.

Your Sun trines this, ultimately the most important thing in a relationship is whether the other person brings something to your life that you don't already have. This shows that you can do this, you can support his weaknesses. You both also have Venus as your planet closest to your chart angles almost conjunct Mars & a Sun-Jupiter conjunction in Cancer which shows similiarity. They same 'familiarity breeds contempt' but in astrology, similarity opens hearts.

I would guess his adult life has been very affected by that Moon position however. Unless he opens up to you, then he will push you away (as he has most people in the past).

The composite does show an unaspected Moon, apart from the Pluto quintile. If you want to get this relationship off the ground, this is focal point is the area that you'll need I believe. ♥

Thank you waxlobster.

The relationship is well off the ground. But maybe you mean stabilized and aiming for longevity. I am considering what you said and I agree that his moon/Chiron/Saturn is huge for him. I support it with my sun, Jupiter and moon and challenge it with my mars (which likely won’t bother him since he has a natal mars challenge).

I do see also the moon not active in composite. Interestingly it squares his nodal axis and opposes my mercury so I do think it is significant for both of us. I should look at composite parallels.

Hi Stonemoon,

I'm really glad to hear that, it sounds like you have a good stable focus too. Your support of his vulnerabilities will prove invaluable in a long term relationship. Two Sun-Jupiter's in Cancer is a really sweet combo too, I am of the belief that Jupiter exalts in Cancer and have found shared Jupiters to be very bonding in long-term relationships (my parents set a great bar for me on that ♥ with their 12 year age gap).

I don't worry too much about composites. Unlike many, I feel that they are the potential of the merging of energies but if you are two independent people who know yourselves, then it's actually your own natal charts that tell the most accurate story. (Not to say there aren't some great write-ups on composites and Davison here, it's just not my own personal priority for relationship analysis). They highlight areas which *can* be sticking points, but as always, behaviour is a choice and our weaknesses often become our most profound strengths.

Wishing you both all the happiness ♥

That’s grasping for straws though lol we will have these “subtle” symbolism matches with pretty much everyone. So you want actual plantary matches by sign or stellium (say if you had PETSONAL planets or your chart ruler in the 3rd house) for a significant connection/attraction. It’s the beginning so it’s hard to gauge, but since you have nothing in Gemini or 3rd house.. or nothing in Taurus or second house besides the moon which helps a bit not it’s not enough though (taurus is his 5th house, which that Venus in Gemini is also the ruler of!) idk how that’s going to hold up after the initial infatuation phase of the first year or two.
Of the hundreds of relationship charts I’ve studied over the years, I’ve never not seen either a strong symbolism match of the mans Venus, 5th or 7th or 5th, 7th and Mars for a woman (at least one of these) in any significant relationship or anything lasting longer than 2 years and most certainly not a marriage.
So I sincerely have my doubts this will last and he will prob be the one to break it off since he fits your attraction profile stronger/better and his Gemini is more restless and easily bored anyways.

I wish I had better news, but you asked for my opinion and this is my honest assessment.

wax-

thank you. I think right now longevity or forever doesn't need to be the focus. There is potential for good here, and even if it is temporary, it is still for the better. I appreciate your words and thoughts.

Luna-

thanks. I understand what you are saying. I still feel there is something here. And if he decides I am not enough, then that is ok too. Whether I am grasping at straws or not, it doesn't matter. At the end of the day, I will go with what my intuition tells me, because it doesn't lead my astray. And like I said to Waxlobster, maybe this isn't meant to be forever. Good can still come out of things that are short lived. And I am ok with that.

Hey hey

I wondered how things are going? Any astrological insights your side to report?

I have Hypo "around". I'm having fun looking at the more difficult aspects now.

This is the only thread I could locate it's been so long

Also, did you see this from ABFA: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/008793-2.html

Ha! Hypo is going to be around for a while, in some form, I think. I am still with my guy since February (not the chart from this thread). No time of birth from him, and honestly I rarely look at our charts. Every now and then. I have been very happy, though I do try to keep eyes wide open. I am just enjoying where I am at for the moment.

Thanks for the point to ABFA's update. That's too bad!

Interesting:

- eros conjunct venus
-eros conjunct psyche
- amor conjunct valentine
- cupido conjunct ASC

Check to see if you have any Osiris/Isis or pluto/persephone/proserpina aspects.
