Having Pluto aspects with someone in my age group really wouldn't be relevant? Since people in our age range will have a similar impact on them?

It is relevant but it has to be within 1 orb to show a true connection.

I don't think so it's 4 degrees and I definitely feel the connection.

This is synastry. Moving this to Interpersonal Astrology.

I don't believe that and I really hate it when I see people online saying stuff like that. If outer planets/generational planet aspects didn't matter then why would we even bother considering them for interpretations? We would just stick to the regular Sun to Saturn sequence of planets, as we used to prior to the generational planets' discoveries.

Just because some people act like they don't feel generational aspects in synastry doesn't mean they don't work or show up. The main reason why some people might feel like they don't see generational aspects in synastry play out is probably because of that fact that they experience it on a daily basis with millions of other people of their age. It can produce a sort of numbness to the clarity of the aspect. Thus, it can be hard to isolate the aspect, since we frequently experience daily with so many people in our generation. But that doesn't mean they don't work and it doesn't mean they aren't relevant or important. These people might only truly feel the full power of generational planet aspects once they become isolated in one synastry between them and a partner, rather than experiencing it all the time in thousands of other synastries.

It's just them being numb to the power of the aspect, because of how frequent it shows up in daily life; like how people have become numb to the power of natal Sun conjunct Mercury because they see so many people have it, they think it is an irrelevant or lackluster placement. But that makes no sense, because those are two pretty powerful planets to have in conjunction. An aspect is an aspect no matter what and if two planets aspect, no matter how common the aspect is, it is already a more powerful influence on a person than if those planets were not aspecting at all.
