Hi folks,

I was wondering how much the house ruler of the house the personal planet of the other party falls in play a part in synastry.
Let's say for example the man's Mars falls into the woman's 3rd house. Not a very sexy house, is it. But the ruler of the 3rd house is in the 8th.
Would 8th house energy still influence the synastry?

Yes ,i think it plays a role.Look 8 house ruler too,it's aspects to his personal planets.

My 8th house ruler does nothing in this particular synastry but mercury is in my 8th and it's conjunct his NN, trine his Venus and sextile his Uranus

My 8th house ruler is conjunct his 5th house ruler on the IC, and his 8th house ruler is conjunct my Asc. Its interesting ..

I check everything about the house im interested in.Ruler,planets in the house ,overlays and aspects to the other chart,sometimes declinations of the above and even house cusp declination.if there are many connections to the other chart,the influence of the house is bigger.
