I've posted this chart in another topic but couldn't get anyone's input so hoping someone can offer their insights on what's going on here. What does all these triangle and rectangles mean in our Davison chart? Would you consider them significant and positive or negative aspects? IP: Logged |

I think they are significant. It's the flow of energy between the two people. It's mostly harmonious, which shows a natural ease or affinity. Some of the orbs are a little wide, but it still exists. The only thing with trines is that too many of them can be "too easy", and sometimes a little tension is helpful to get things moving or to see progress. Dynamic relationships provide growth through tension and struggle. Easy aspects are comfortable but don't always foster growth. Venus trine neptune and Saturn... I see a romanticism/idealistic view that still finds roundedness in reality. It's sweet yet practical at the same time. pluto trine moon and mars... intense. Love this. Sparks fly. T-square between Uranus and Mars and Saturn is tighter orbs so you may feel this most. Uranus is the apex here, so the struggle between Mars and Saturn can find release in independence, freedom. This will definitely be a challenge. There is a tendency to control, stop action, prevent the other from one thing or another. At the same time an internet need for independence and individuality will provide the outlet needed to resolve this struggle. IP: Logged |

I should add that both of those trines are really parts of kites. This is a lovely thing, but I can't really speak to it more than what I did. IP: Logged |

Thank you so much, StoneMoon. It sounds like we have rather harmonious/balanced aspects with the square that you mentioned in the mix....or do you feel that this challenge will be too much of a struggle in terms of manipulation and control tendencies? Can someone please offer their knowledge on what these kites mean? Also, what are these rectangles: 1) Moon/Pluto/Neptune/Venus 2) Saturn/Venus/Mars/Pluto IP: Logged |

Mystic rectangles in the Davison show a lot of structure and stability within those planets. It’s a great thing. The kites/grandtrine shows a lot of harmony and ease within your relationship. Whenever I see these types of pattern configurations in the relationship charts, it’s a solid indicator of a long-term relationship. 9 times out of 10 IME. It’s definitely very positive IP: Logged |

Uumm I like the sound of it...mystic Thank you for explaining, Lunalscariot! This, if you may recall, is the same guy that I recently posted our synastry with and you told me that this was definitely a karmic relationship because we had DW for NN/ASC, SN/DSC, Moon/ASC, Mars/DSC and angle conjunctions. What do I make of it? Does Davison override Synastry? And I looked at our Composite and it looks nothing like Davison... Which chart is the most important to consider?

You have a wide star of David in this Davison. I have not made it habit to interpret Davison, only midpoints. However, star of David on a midpoint composite would be a significant pattern, and yes, you should feel the effects of it. It would bring a real cooperative energy to the couple. You have air and fire, which would bring a more independent tone overall, but that could represent what the relationship is about...independent from outside interference. With any type of profound configuration in a composite, I always recommend for the person who is questioning the significance of a relationship how do you feel about it? You know what it's doing to you...so follow the flow, if you know what I mean. IP: Logged |
