I've had this conjunction before with my son's father. It did not play out the way I've read it usually does in synastry. That relationship lacked love on all levels. I definitely did learn what I want from a relationship though. My venus was exactly conjunct his chiron. Looking at the synastry of a new person I've met, my venus is exactly conjunct his chiron too. This kind of worries me. His chiron is on his Midheaven as well. Anyone ever experienced both sides of this conjunction? The good and the bad?

I just realized that my chiron parallels his ascendant.... This is making me nervous lol.

This can be a nice aspect, but it's usually full of a lot of need for healing either way. I've been the chiron person before, and while it can feel very soothing at times, it can also be very wounding. The venus person often wants something from the chiron person that they aren't always able to give in the way they want.

Not to say they never can, but it takes a lot of compromise and a loooooot of maturity from BOTH parties. The venus person often has to learn that they can come on strong and won't always get exactly what they want, how they want it. This can feel a bit unfair sometimes but it's more just learning that life is a bit different than we feel it should be.

The chiron person can also learn to compromise, but they REALLY need to be honest and upfront about what they are capable or willing to offer to the venus person, and WORK THROUGH whatever trauma comes up- cuz it probably will, in some fashion.
