Can you have a long term, fulfilling relationship with a strong Uranus in a composite chart? Or is it doomed from the start to end abruptly eventually?

If it weren't for Uranus and unaspected Saturn to a lesser extent this would have been a quite nice composite.
But Alas Uranus had to come in and ruin everything.

What do you make of it ?

Here it is the synastry chart:

No expert, but I imagine a relationship like this would be TOO easy. Some Uranus instability is probably for the best. Some decent Saturn aspects would be nice however.

Post the davison.

Lol no no don’t worry. It’s only HARD aspects, meaning squares/opposites and conjunction to the sun or lots of personal planets or the ASC/DSC axis or the rulers of these angles in hard aspect that’s going to cause problems.
The Uranus trines are actually really positive! It means the relationship will feel new and exciting and you shouldn’t get bored or stagnant. It’s good it keeps things fresh.
Those trines are also trine Jupiter so part of a grand trine which is even better! Lots of fun, open, exciting, expansive, happy, positive vibes between you.

But Uranus and mars are square the ASC/DSC axis.. so that’s worrying. You might be prone to arguments or conflict and sudden changes or instability. Without any Saturn aspects and the Uranus square the ASC/DSC it could be a more short term relationship, but everything else is really solid so you have a great foundation and the positives def outweighs the negatives. I think you can make it work 👍

So having Sun square Uranus in a composite chart automatically means the relationship won’t work? You have to look at the entire chart not just a couple of aspects. I have the inconjunction between the Sun and Uranus and Mars opposition Uranus but those are only two aspects.

Not at all! My friends that have been in a long term relationship have sun square Uranus. Channing and Jenna had this and lasted 9 years. There’s others too. It could mean that both people are from different cultures too. Don’t let one aspect define the relationship!

Uranus trines are nothing to worry about.

My parents have Uranus square Sun/Venus/Mars and Uranus conjuncts Asc, square MC/IC. Together 40+ yrs. Long-term definitely. Fulfilling, not sure. Perhaps other aspects helped. Sun/Venus/Mars/Lilith conjunct MC.

Uranus was probably what broke Channing's marriage. People forget Uranus moves slow, but it does move. Look at the transits during their break up.

What about the inconjunction?

Here's a thread that talks about Channing's break-up: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/007737.html

The inconjunction is not generally considered a good aspect.

Yes I know it’s not a good aspect but it’s not as bad as the square. You have to look at everything in a chart not just one or two aspects.

I actually think inconjunctions are worse than squares, but that's just me. At least squares find eachother interesting and worth the challenge often times. Inconjunctions are just awkward and repulsive.

I agree. It could definitely be worse. Case in point:

Now this is a composite from hell. Which is a shame considering it's the first time I had Psyche conjunct Eros with someone in a synastry. It was supposed to indicate soulmate connection, but we went on a few dates and we parted ways. Well sort of since we still work together. But the vibe was too intense for me to handle so I had to run. I don't if I was feeling this composite or if it was his Scorpio moon conjunct Pluto that spooked my Aqua Moon. Probably both.

I haven't had much luck when it comes down to love stelliums. I have only had them like three times and two of them were seriously afflicted. And one wasn't even a relationship prospect but it still ended painfully for me.

The lack of Saturn action is worrisome considering I have natally Saturn square DSC so I need this old devil in my relationships. But what upsets me more is that I don't touch his nodes.
The nodes aspects are very special to me. I had NN or SN aspects with every person that was significant for me in a way or the other at certain points in my life. They have helped me grow. I remember them vividly whereas someone that hadn't made a connection to my node faded from my memory after a while.
So in a way I guess I am not that important to his journey.

Post the davison.

I have no idea what to make of the Davison.
Saturn is mostly unaspected here as well so I guess this is already a pattern.

That’s only one aspect though I don’t get why people base things on one aspect.

No one does. However, some single aspects are worse than others.

There are relationships w/o Saturn and they glue. An e.g. is my friend and her husband. Barely any Saturn in synastry... none in Davison and they glued for 8yrs now. However, they have plenty of Pluto aspects so perhaps that's what glued them - can't let go.

Also, you don't need a lot of Saturn to glue. In fact, too much Saturn can cause a relationship to be too cold, and some stay together due to responsibility even though love is over. Anyway, your Saturn opposes Mars so that's a glue there... albeit a difficult one.

So I should avoid people that I have this aspect with?

as hs already mentioned.. hard Uranus aspects are quite unstable ,but with the grand trine, it looks very favorable. paradoxically, as again also already mentioned...it may be too harmonious as trine woith not tension can become boring amd pass away. but it might not apply here as urnaus gives stimulation so this composite might not need the added tension added to it.

Ok I need someone to look at this composite because I nearly fell off my seat when I saw it.

This couple has been together for almost 50 years. 50 YEARS!!!! Almost their entire lives thus far. It just goes to show we should never assume anything.

Wow thanks for sharing! Impressive.
But I bet these people wouldn’t have lasted in our time, I’m afraid.

Still it’s good to see that staying together is a matter of pure choice. One can have the best compatibility (not just talking about astrology) and still not make it work!

Do you know these people personally? Were they happy? And how did the Neptune opposition and Uranus square play out?

Could you also check their Davison.. do these aspects repeat? And what about the progressed composite? Just out of interest. You don’t have to post them.. just check if that Neptune/Uranus theme remains consistent through out their relationship or if maybe there’s more Saturn and Venus involved?
Thank you

I do know them personally yes and they are quirky for sure. Their home is FULL of knick knacks (think an episode of "Hoarders") and they have a choo-choo train on their front lawn lol. I can't say their relationship has been "easy" in the traditional sense but they do enjoy their time together - cooking, travelling often - but they have a special dynamic. The husband is that traditional type where he works hard and makes the money and is also the "brains" of the relationship and the wife being more passive goes along with whatever he thinks is right. The wife had never been with any other man or ever had a career of her own (she was a stay-at-home mom predominantly) so she didn't have enough "life experience" let's say to form her own ideas/opinions of the world. As such it seems that's why she tends to be more passive because she lacks the confidence to tell him otherwise if she thinks he's wrong. I think she hides her real feelings on certain things for that reason too. I think they've lasted as long as they have because they really do embody that traditional "you lead, I follow" type of arrangement.

Here is their davison -

Progressed composite -
