Hypothetical question - I've no-one particularly in mind.

Basically what I said in the title: if a guy's Venus opposes a woman's Mars I've heard it creates an attraction. But if the guy's Mars and the woman's Venus are unaspected, that would suggest they wouldn't be attracted to each other, wouldn't it?

Is there a general line on how this kind of situation is read? Does only one half feel the attraction? Are the aspected pair enough to offset the unaspected pair?

This doesn't make sense.

If the guys Venus makes an aspect to the woman's Mars there is attraction. Whether her Venus aspects his Mars or not.

There's a plenty of aspects in synastry that indicate attraction. Venus-Mars aspects are just one of them, so no, it doesn't mean there will not be attraction between two people.

And for Venus (man) - Mars (woman) aspect. It definitely shows attraction, but maybe woman will be more dominant, or more playful than man in bed.

I meant if her Mars is then found to be completely unaspected by any other planets and likewise his Venus.

Some would say that if a woman's Mars is unaspected in a synastry chart that would indicate nothing is activating the planet that embodies the qualities in her "ideal man" - ie. he's not her "type". Or that her Mars being left alone/unprovoked means there'd be no urgency to get involved on her part.

Well what does it mean if a guys Venus conjuncts a woman’s Mars? But the guys Mars doesn’t aspect a woman’s Venus?
