for me, it doesn't seem like he is slow when it comes to relationships but he said he wants to be friends first. can you see it? is it jupiter in cancer?

Are you certain of his birth time?Is he the one with Aquarius moon? If so, yes, they do often like taking things slow and being friends first. IP: Logged |

The synastry looks romantic and very exciting and intimate, if he's outside, then he's Sagittarius with Aquarius Moon, and with Saturn in 6th (capricorn) he's not someone who easily commits, but once he does he takes it seriously. With his Capricorn Saturn in 6th, he might take time and, yes, this makes him slow in decision making. Thing about not understanding him, that will just take time, and probably lots of it, and if he wants to take it slow, then no harm in that. It's good to be cautious and take things slow in general. You two might not have exactly the same language but it can be learned by getting to know each other in various situations over a long time. Hang out and chat whenever you can. You've got Jupiter and Chiron in higher octave houses (11, 12) those two houses possess the potential ability to strongly and intimately understand others (all signs/houses before them), even if they are not very similar to you temperament wise. From the synastry, it looks like you have a lot of similarities with your Sagittarius Sun (4th and 5th house overlays are very good! you should actually feel "familiar"), and both Venus, Saturn, Neptune in Capricorn... even your Moons (emotional world) don't look so distant even though his Aquarius Moon might look "detached", but it's still in his 8th house and his Pluto in Scorpio, so once he's emotionally involved, he might even get along with a Scorpio Moon/Pluto :-) His Cancer Jupiter is different from your Leo Jupiter, you probably approach things in a more confident way and you would need to feel emotionally safer and get "warmer" signals. thank you! you may be right. i don't feel familar at ll.. he seems a little bit too soft for me.
and as you said.. i need to feel emotionally safe.

He's certainly "softer" than you, with his Cancer ASC/Jupiter, Aquarius Moon and his Sagittarius Mercury, this all might feel "elusive" to you, but looking at the chart I suspect that if you knew him on a deeper level you would find out a lot more similarities... your Jupiter squares to his Pluto/Mars might feel like something just doesn't match.
