Hello guys,
A friend of mine is getting married soon, and she wants to know you thoughts about the synastry and composite. I will link them below. She's the inside circle.

*Deleted the charts, since some people decided to fight on this thread instead*

Sun square uranus in the composite? Something not right about that. How long have they been dating?

What do you mean by something not right about that? Can you elaborate? I want to know for future reference. Because people can’t help what aspects they have with people. Are you saying people with this in composite won’t have a lasting relationship?

Challenging uranus aspects in the composite usually point to something unstable, unusual, unreliable, and usually happened quickly.

I don't know the specific situation of these people, which is why I'm asking.

She said her friend is getting married soon. So is marriage not possible with challenging Uranus aspects in the composite? Couldn’t it just point to an unconventional marriage?

Western astrology tends not to be as fatalistic as your question would imply. That's more of a Vedic astrology thing.

It could point to several things, I don't know.

there are a lot of favorable marriage aspects as Jupiter is setile to the moon and trine to Saturn and mars is trine to venus and sextile.

but I am with bismark on that sun square to Uranus. in addition the Jupiter/juno ,midpoint is square Uranus.

pallas I is square to Neptune which might show wishful thinking.

with the south node transiting Uranus and squaring the sun in march, I would think that is when they got together or decided to marry. but everything since then has cooled off. have they set a date?

There must be something unconventional about that relationship.

All that I know is that they met in an unexpected way, and also people look at their rs as if it's weird. They stand out as being the unusual couple. Other than sun square uranus, do you think they have aspects that would support/or not their rs?
Because I personally don't understand how they lasted 4 years, and they would discuss marriage as something they're going to "do", and yet they're waiting for their lives to be more stable. So....

Hi itsmeyaz,
I think they have an exciting and deeply imtimate relationship, they're both very passionate and independent. Their Venus conjunction trine their Pluto conjunction, plus their Sun trine her Mars in 8th house conjunct his Chiron in 5th house says it all. Moreover, his Juno opposite her Juno/ASC, they're "meant" to get married. Her Jupiter is also conjunct his NN in 8th house. Their emotional life is a rollercoaster, with those Moon oppositions. They might switch from a very free relationship to moments of fights for jelousy and control over each others. There might be a trust issue coming and going... Composite Mars opposite Neptune/Uranus shows this hot and cold (or peace and war) dynamics. But the Mars/Pluto/Venus Gran Trine shows this is mainly "hot" and passionate. Composite Venus trine to Pluto/NN in 9th house, Saturn/ASC trine Jupiter, Juno in 7th house opposite Venus/Mercury... I think they are meant to build their future life together, no matter how it all will be challenging, hot blooded and unstable sometimes. Certainly it doesn't look boring :-)
Saturn/ASC opposite Chiron shows also a deep karmic bond, they seem to be supposed to ride a certain road together for sure.

Hi Stoika! Sorry to jump in on this thread but have seen you comment about Mars conjunct Chiron multiple times. What exactly does that mean in synastry? Haven’t found much on it.

Hi MMarie, it depends from others aspects too, but in synastry it usually points to a deep energy at intimate level, cause Chiron is about our deepest psychological wounds and insecurity, and at the same time it is the "key" to our healing and awareness, while Mars is highly sexual, passionate, triggering, inspiring, especially towards our inner individual soul. Mars can also be the "warrior" who challenges your Chiron wounds in order to heal you, or from whom you feel protected and making you feel safe. So this match, in a synastry conjunction, it's a strong aspect about attraction and potential intimate bond.

It can also completely tear apart a relationship.

Thank you sharing this is similar to what I read on a Cafe Astrology report I had done for a composite chart.

If Mars conjunct Chiron (in synastry) is well aspected, I don't think it's negative on its own, it can point to a union that has a healing potential by triggering issues and awareness. If it's badly aspected, for instance by Uranus, Mars, Venus, Mercury squares, it is painful. If there's a Neptune square to Chiron conjunct Mars, then the issues triggered by Mars can become painful, the couple might not be aware of the issues involved, there might be a negative psychological co-dependence and self-deception, or their bond is involved in drugs/alchool addiction. With a Pluto square there might be an abusive/aggressive/harming attitude, with a Saturn square the bond is focused on those issues and they might become a heavy burden.

Telling the truth is not negative. What is negative is not heeding the charts and having a lot of misery.

You shouldn't base a relationship on synastry. If two people want to be together then why would let a chart dictate that? There are people who have bad synastry and composite who are happy together. This is where I think real life should come before astrology. So if a synastry shows something negative two people shouldn't be together? I don't think so at some point real life trumps astrology.

Thanks for actually explaining things in detail. And not only mentioning the negatives.

You're welcome. And I agree with you about not basing a relationship on synastry... actually though, a synastry might show/explain a relationship dynamics in a way more complex picture within its reality, other than simply reading it as "going to be long term" or "not going to work out"... a relationship is always more complex than that, and even with heavy Saturn, Uranus squares, other aspects might explain how a long term couple has been dealing with it. Any situation, in the reality, is different and complex and the more you know about it (and about astrology) the more you're able to read the picture of the chart... otherwise it's all just about theory and potentiality :-)
