Every person has their Dsc ruler in a sign. Every person wants the energies of the Dsc sign and the Dsc ruler sign in their partner. If someone has Libra Dsc and the ruler Venus is in Virgo, what good would come of someone making a sextile or trine with their placements to the Dsc or Venus of the person? Leo, Cancer, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Aquarius, Gemini, Capricorn and Taurus are neither Libra energy nor Virgo energy. They are what they are. Of course, it's not simple as that. You have to look at the hard aspects the Dsc ruler makes in the natal chart to see exactly what someone needs in a partner. But you'll notice every person who has their Sun in the same sign as your Dsc ruler. I remember you being an Aqua Asc. Your Sun would be your Dsc ruler, so look where your Sun is. I for example have a Libra Dsc and Dsc ruler Venus in Virgo. I always notice people whose Asc ruler is in Libra or their Sun being in Virgo. Recently I was in a museum and saw dozens and dozens of portraits of people that lived two or three hundred years ago and one portrait caught my attention for some reason. So later I googled the guy to see what he was and what he had been doing in his time. Of course - he was a Virgo. My boyfriend is a double Virgo, my friends and family have Virgo Suns, Ascendants, H6 Suns, Virgo Moons and so on and they also have a lot of Libra. It's not just two signs (Dsc and Dsc ruler sign), there are more things to consider but honestly, it's not that complex either. IP: Logged |

My Sun is in my 9th house I have Aquarius Descendant. But I’m not only attracted to Sun in Aquarius men. It’s usually people who are Uranian personal planets in aspect to Uranus. It doesn’t mean that you will automatically be attracted to your Descendant sign. It could be a person who has those qualities.

I think attraction factor is much more than the sign of your Dsc. If not then it cannot explain the lack of Sag romantic partners in my life.I've Dsc in Sag with Jupiter in Aries. I'm not automatically attracted to Sag/Aries people. In fact, I mentioned in another thread that Sag Sun people tend to rub me the wrong way. One Aries Sun guy chased me for years but I couldn't bring myself to reciprocate. I tried very hard. Instead, I'm attracted to the energies resonating with my Dsc. E.g. Mars(Aries)-Jupiter(Sag) natal aspect. Last year I met a Virgo Sun and a Sag Sun. I ended up falling for the Virgo Sun. My NN in 6H, my IC in Virgo. I've a 7H Moon and that apparently causes attraction to Cancer energies (my ex has a Cancer Sun. Another ex has a Cancer Mars). I also attract Libras (which is my 5H cusp). My friend has a Scorpio Dsc and she has never dated anyone with Scorpio planets. @ChildofVenus Any aspects to our Moon is significant because it is the Moon you're talking about. If the Moon rules an important angle or if you've planets in 4H, it makes it even more significant for the Moon person.
Trine/sextile are also felt although for attraction, it is generally thought that the hard aspects will generate a stronger reaction. So to your qn whether this is a relevant aspect, I would say YES. Trine/sextile are major aspects so why should they be dismissed? IP: Logged | |
