You have a composite love stellium in 8H + Chiron sextile Moon. This indicates a very close relationship but the 8H is famously deep yet hard to manage as it requires both parties to be full on (or not). Also, I always prefer Chiron in soft aspects as the hard aspects can be very healing or very painful depends on how the relationship plays out.

He’s in a committed relationship and it leaves me feeling empty sometimes. I think that I don’t want to be with him so I don’t care, but if we have a good time together I start to question what the heck is going on.

My friend and her bf also has this aspect in Davison & Synastry and their feelings always blow hot/cold. It can be hard to manage.

Although I want to say that things can turn out unexpectedly but since he's already in a committed relationship, it's better that you step away least you end up getting hurt. If he truly wants you, he will make a choice.
