So I met this guy... Now as far as his birthdate, I don't know if I remember well cuz I was drinking and not sure if I can trust my memory. I remember the birth month and day, but the year I vaguely remember but if I do have it right (like I saw his ID and remember seeing the year '92, almost sure) then it would result in my Venus being unaspected.

Now I kinda found him to be cute. I'm wondering, given that my Venus is not aspected by any of his planets, how that would play out in this regard? Do you 'like' someone only if your Venus is aspecting the other persons' planets?

Also, our Moon signs (if again the year is right) aren't necessarily compatible. His being in Scorpio conjunct Pluto and mine being in Gemini inconjunct Uranus.

For some reason I feel that it makes a lot of sense the layout of his planets... I immediately felt a strong cooled off/Aquarian energy and his Venus is in Aquarius conjunct Saturn but at the same time has a certain warmth. Which I guess would be his Moon in Scorpio and Mars in Cancer.

I also felt an immediate warmth with him towards the end when we hugged. Like guys it was warm lol I haven't met him before and we're from different backgrounds completely but the energy exchange was like super warm. Before I looked at the charts I thought it felt like a Venus/Moon situation going on. And with this setup his Venus trines my Moon.

So if I in fact have his year right...

How is an unaspected Venus over time? It's not that he's just ok and just another cute guy. I actually thought I really liked him. And was wondering how, with my unaspected Venus. Perhaps it's aspecting his ASC?

And if so, does that mean that over time I'd feel different about him? Especially our Venus's are really incompatible. Mine's Cancer and his Aquarius.

Now I know it's different but my sister I find to be incredibly adorable and we get on really well. And the dynamic is similar. Her air Venus to my Moon and my water Venus to her Moon. But our Venus's and Moon's are incompatible. And we live together I've never felt that we don't get along. (I know it's absurd this comparison lol cuz she's only 7 but still you can know. Or so I think.)

So yeah, I'm curious mostly about an unaspected Venus. Any input appreciated! Thanks!

I think it depends how important Venus is in your own chart first off. Does it rule any of your relationship houses? ASC or DSC ruler? If not important, it may not be AS big of a deal if not aspected in synastry. For me personally, Mercury contacts are far more important than Venus, to give you an example.

In what I've seen, unaspected Venus can play out over time like the partner doesn't necessarily fully understand your humour, your tastes, your interests, your values, etc. so it's like a blind spot for them. Not to say this can't be overcome with some understanding or effort on the partner's behalf but if this kind of understanding is NECESSARY based on how important Venus is to you, then it could become annoying.

For immediate attraction I always think ASC anyway. What is Uranus doing in your synastry? Sometimes the sparkiness can come from that. Warmth I would definitely think Moon/Venus as there is a level of understanding and safety there.

Thanks!

Venus rules my fifth house, but honestly I myself find Mercury too to be much bigger of a deal. If I can't communicate with a person it's a killer.

But anyway I spoke with him yesterday I got his year wrong lol he was born 2 years later.

First off, I don't think I ever liked someone with so much water in their chart lol. His Moon is Cancer and Venus Scorpio. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

And the Venus/Moon isn't there but my Mars conjunct his Moon and my Pluto trines it. My Venus only trines his Saturn.

Now the much bigger issue is my Moon is only inconjunct his Venus/NN conjunction. I'm a bit concerned about that. No other aspects to my Moon. I think I only had one guy actually touching all my planets properly lol. Generally it's either my planets are unaspected or inconjunct stuff only. Or an opposition to like Uranus or something lol. Am I doomed? 😆

Anyway I think I started feeling the water depth yesterday when we communicated. I dunno how I feel about it lol it doesn't have that breadth of fresh air I love. I generally attract Aries/Leo/Pisces for the most part. I never had Cancer AND Scorpio. Although my Venus and Mars are in Cancer. But his Sun is Sag like my Desc so I guess that helps.

Anyway I guess we'll see how it goes. But thanks for your input!

Funny, you're like me. Something in my chart always suffers because of the degree positions of all my planets. Usually it's my Venus, because it's kinda just doing its own thing in my chart. When someone else touches my Venus with their chart, then their chart suffers...you kinda feel like someone is always giving something up! But that's life I guess lol.

I experienced an unaspected Moon in a relationship once. To be honest, it was before my knowledge of astrology, and at the time I really didn't think there was anything "wrong" with the relationship. I did feel very supported and understood, which when I reflect back is very strange. I think there were a lot of other supportive aspects to compensate for this, enough to make it so that my Moon wasn't so lonely. Obviously the relationship ended so it clearly wasn't THAT fulfilling but it felt more like friendship than love towards the end. Someone once told me perhaps because my Moon is very well-supported in my own chart, I didn't miss the lack of contacts? I haven't experienced that since so I can't say for sure.

Can you post your synastry and/or composite?

Omg yeah like my planets' degree are just erratic like me haha. I feel like I always hit other people's planets cuz I'll always have a planet somewhere across the spectrum but given that my planets are so spread out it's so hard to find someone that touches each and every one of them.

You think your Moon might have been aspecting any of his angles? Or what about nodes? I think that would change things too.

So I was married for 6+ years with this guy... It was an arranged marriage so I dunno I was young and stupid and went for it. I didn't feel satisfied AT ALL I hated it and wanted just out. It was my Sun, Moon AND Mars that were unaspected (disregarding inconjuncts, cuz we had so many of them in our chart it consisted mainly of that. 2 trines in which 1 was with outer planets only, 1 conjunct which probably held us together for so long lol it was his Jupiter right on top of my Venus. Then we had squares and inconjuncts only). I dunno how I lasted so long with him it's crazy thinking about it.

But yeah lemme post the Synastry. I'm feeling a bit iffy about it I promised myself never to look at Synastry charts so early on again lol oh well. But so far I'm letting it roll. My Venus becomes super complicated if I'm into someone lol and I was like joking about it to him. His response kinda felt heartwarming lol so he's in the green. He was like 'i can handle it, and plan to. If you allow me to that is'. Damn boy lol I'd be lying if I said I wasn't turned on by it 😆😅. His Venus is in Scorpio so yeah.
