Topic: Moon Conjunct South Node Synastry; Good or Bad??

Met someone whose Moon conjunct my South Node and the connection is something I've never felt before. We met two months ago and I already feel like we have known each other forever. We talk like best friends and enjoy each others company very much. I've read about how South Node contacts are karmic and doesn't last long but are there any possibilities of it going anywhere?? My last relationship, we had Moon conjunct North Node but I feel a stronger connection to the South Node person. Give me your input on this aspect and if it's a good chance of a long term partnership IP: Logged |

Hi dribaby, it's not possible to see if there's long term potential based only on this one aspect. South Node might refer to a past life connection or to a past experience in this life, it is in any case very binding or the bond is felt instantly intense. Please post a Composite chart for a check on long term potential! IP: Logged |

I have this with a man who was born on the exact same day as me, we only have different ascendants, house placements, and moons (he is a Taurus Moon, I'm Gemini - we both have Venus in Gemini conjunct my Moon and our South Nodes). I had such a crush on him, and we lived next-door to each other - our mums also became best friends. I was extremely shy, but he wasn't, he was like me when I was younger (we were teenagers when we met). I later found out that he liked me, too, but I was so socially anxious that when he asked me out (and with the way that he asked me out), I just told him that he was wrong, and I hate that I did that. This was a few weeks before we moved to the States.He seems to have just broken up with a woman that he was involved with for the last few years. He broke up with the mother of his children, whom he'd been with since he was sixteen or seventeen, just before he got involved with her. I don't know if they cheated, but I heard that he did cheat on the woman he'd been with for years, which annoyed me on her behalf. I've thought about adding him on facebook, since I have his brother added, and have for years, but I don't know if I really want to know him now. I don't think he wants to know me, either, so I haven't tried. Anyway, I apparently have a thing for the combination of a moon in Taurus and Leo ascendant, because that's what the guy who is kind of in my life now, has in his chart. IP: Logged |
