Venusdeindia mentioned seeing Valentine and Karma appear on significant (soulmate?) relationships.

I thought it may have to do with past life stuff. Am I on the wrong track?

This aspect is at 0 degrees on a synastry chart.

Here is Darkdreamer's recent interpretation for me about the Valentine/IC aspect in my synastry chart. This is from the Draco chart, so she was referencing it is a past life aspect. But I think it will still relate to you, since the IC can mean family, but also your inner soul. The IC is the deepest part of you..your inner core.

His Draco Valentine conjunct Her Draco IC - a past life loving connection, maybe in form of a close bond between family relatives (IC as a symbol for family rather than romance), but the IC doesn`t only signify the family and home, but also the inner core of your soul. That is the reason the IC is ALWAYS triggered in soulmate-relationships.
Either through conjunction to the IC, other exact aspects, or aspects to the IC-ruler.
Someone who touches your IC, really touches your innermost soul, this part of you you usually hide away from ot hers because you feel the need to protect it, as it is the most vulnerable part of you. Someone who loves that part of you, can do wonders for your soul and growth. And it seems that he did so in a past life and that you still feel that vibration (of course someone who has the key to that private room of your soul, also could do a lot of damage to it). That is the reason not all people really like it, if someone has access to their soul like that.

I also pulled some of my notes for you from IQHunk's old threads about Valentine. He thought Valentine in the synastry was almost more important and stronger than Venus.

About Asteroid Valentine, it resonates to the frequency of Saint Valentine who represents sacrifice for the sake of love.

Valentine-Valentine and Juno-Juno conjunction. A very rare combination that produces the most intense love and desire to be each other's spouse/mate/soul mate.

I have my valentine conjunct J's
verte
and his valentine conjunct my eros
Then J's draco Val conjunct my draco Val
0 degree.

Also his draco Isis and moon conj my trop moon trine his trop venus

And my draco osiri and amor conj his trop sun trine my trop mars.

Lilith / Juno conjunct Juno would mean a strong emphasis on the feminine principle. Juno conjunct Juno could indicate a good marriage, as IQ mentioned; with Lilith there things could reach deep under the surface and bring forth very primal emotions (we are speaking of Black moon lilith?)

Mars / Saturn in contact to IC could be a bit harsh and painful for the IC-owner.
The Mars-SAturn person would "hit" them at their deepest core. And if this person is too energetic or pushy (Mars) or too critical (Saturn), then the IC-owner would be hurt very badly.
The Saturn-Mars-person doesn`t need to mean it bad, but the IC-owner is VERY sensitive and possibly trying to protect his soul from the "invasion". It`s like Mars is shouting: "I DEMAND entrance to your soul. NOW!" for example.
It`s like the MArs-Saturn person pushes for entry and steps on the brakes at the same time (don`t forget Saturn is very vulnerable him or herself, just they try to cover it up; two vulnerable energies like that can easily misunderstand and hurt each other, even though they only want the best for each other).

In a positive way Mars can encourage the IC-person to open up emotionally and SAturn can give great feelings of security and safety.

These were aspects between my bf and another girl from the past.

Remember of me talking about kiron and love in relationships?And that sometimes people widraw from others cause pf past wounds?
I see that it happened with him and that girl- as i was reading your analisis i completely understood how he was bad treated and how she "invaded" his intimate soul...

Yes i was talking about black moon lilith and it made me think that her Lilith conj his juno could mean also that her deepest dark side ( envy,harted,guilt,fears) hit him on his Juno idelas ( ideal woman,natural partner) , the same time that her juno conj his juno.
So from one side,he could see her as a partner and be atrated but she reprensented also for him, a person who brought him fears,trauma,guilt,danger etc...

Lilith could be used in a god way ( motherwood,principle of the ideal woman,awakening of the feminine in him,...) but i think here it was the darker side that won.

that is understandable, after all you didn`t part because of lack of love. You parted even though you were still in love; but please remember your views on the future and life haven`t changed.
You still have kids and are living on another continent.

I still think true love can overcome this obstacle, but it takes courage and patience, and no foul compromises.

But I understand how hard it must be if you know the other still loves you, you still love him, and yet you can`t be together. That is so unfair.

But sometimes the lifepaths are just too different.

I also read somewhere that distance is usually involved in relationships like this. Being kept apart. Look at me...there is only 100 miles keeping us apart, and I can't seem to bridge that yet. And I think Diandra's relationship also involves distance, because I think her guy lives in another city. (Correct me if I'm wrong Diandra!)

Another thing....what are your Saturn and Chiron aspects with him? IQHunk told me that my guy was the Saturn in our relationship. That he controlled the timing. The release of the karma. And I owe him all the karma. I betrayed him in all of our lifetimes. I try to remember that when I am hurting, and wondering if it ever comes together.

I guess it depends of how much you`re willing to risk and compromise WITHOUT feeling that you compromised too much.

Sure, true love can win in the end. But to do that, both of you must be willing to walk it to the end. For him that means he has to accept that you have responsibilities and your kids.
And if he can`t do that, then he might love you still, but his love might not be strong enough to really change his life.
