So... I've been infatuated with someone for a while now.

Our aspects:

Mars conj. Venus (0 degree)
Pluto opp. Venus
Pluto square Mars
Moon trine Pluto

I have Mars opposite Pluto in my natal chart. It almost feels unrequited on my end.

Anyways from these aspects, do you think the feelings of 'obsession' (for lack of a better term) are mutual?

This could turn bad.

When you feel like that about someone, that you can't control your feelings, your thoughts, that's not ok.
He has Venus opposite Pluto and he will attract people that will be obsessive about him, he probably looks really attractive, but he uses his Venus qualities to keep a partner, which in the end probably feels hurt by his partners. Oppositions from Pluto to Moon and Venus are hard to handle for the native.

You have the Mars opposite Pluto, which is as difficult as a square, probably a bit easier, which also shows anger issues, but mostly coming from outside forces that trigger this part in you.

I think he has a t-square involving Venus/Pluto in opposition, both squaring his Saturn. And he is with his Saturn making a t-square to your opposition in your chart. This will be difficult, but also you will learn something from this as in seeing how you use your opposition in relationships.

I have a Moon opposite Pluto in natal chart and it happened to me twice to meet someone to make a t-square to this opposition with Saturn being in the 7th house. I learned a lot about this, but also it was so difficult. I wanted to express myself, but couldn't. Also made me realise of the problems I have with this opposition.

The attraction is probably very high, lustful, obsessive, dangerous.

You have to check in composite to see if there are other hard aspects from Pluto to personal planets to see if this could be ok in the end, but those are already too many hard aspects from Pluto to say that it's going to work out without pain or problems.

Thanks so much for this I really appreciate it!

It's interesting because there are no hard Pluto aspects in our composite chart.

Another question is do both people feel the intense effects of Pluto? Or is it just the Pluto person? I know there are already threads on this but so far I've read conflicting opinions

Well, I usually experience the Moon opposite Pluto in synastry because of the natal placements, but with people older than me, they have their Pluto opposite my Venus, so, I get scared when someone acts their Pluto in opposition to my Venus.

So I guess if it's not the natal placements the same as in synastry, it can get scary if you're not used to that energy. And recently, a guy who has many Pluto aspects in his chart scared the hell out of me. I couldn't sleep that night when I understood what he was doing.

It's "ok" (in the sense that it can go further the relationships, not that those issues will not be present) when you are both Plutonian people and used to this energy. His Venus in 2nd house with Pluto in the 8th, he mostly wants to be at peace and not get into this kind of situations, but he gets there. If it is indeed square to Saturn, he is not going to use that opposition as it would be used without that square.
