I was never too much into natal Davison, and it was such a pain to build progressed Davison. Then I read a wonderful article by Dawn Bodrogi stating that internal things are more visible in a composite while external things are more visible in Davison.So I went through all the pain of making a few progressed and solar arc Davisons and got shocked!!
(PLEASE DON'T QUOTE THE FOLLOWING)
Just an example - the day when I went with someone to adopt a cat transit Sun was exactly on our progressed Davison Venus in the 6th, opposite to his natal Venus, ruler of 6th in the 5th. Of course Sun transits are not something significant usually, but this exact conjunction was just mind-blowing, given that he previously went to the foster house several times (without me) and left without a cat.
Other events were pretty much visible in progressed Davison. E.g., there is a Venus-Chiron square in the progressed Davison with Venus opposite his natal Venus (so a t-square with Chiron on top), and it turned out that recent frequent crises involving third parties (in social sense but these people were bumping on us externally so to speak) were happening when this t-square was getting activated.
And even solar arcs!! When we started dating solar arc Jupiter was exactly on natal Dsc in Davison, well it's also conjunct composite Antivertex and my name asteroid. SA Uranus one degree from natal Venus, now it's getting exact, so I wonder if we do break up now or if it's just an Uranian kind of relationship overall. I think that getting together was kind of Uranian already since it happened unexpectedly and in Uranian environment, and in the composite transit South Node was on composite Uranus and prior to that on his name asteroid. So it basically looks that both Davison and composite are working and sensitive to transits.
