I have looked at both effects of Karkata Ketu in 1st house and Sun in 5th house for Karkata Rashi seprately, and they are fairly accurate.

Sun in the 5th house in Scorpio is good because Sun is in its friend sign of Scorpio which is ruled by Mars. Sun is also the ruler of the 5th house generally. With Ketu aspecting, there might be some feelings of contentment and detachment towards things like authority figures, career, etc which are all significators of the sun.

The aspect isn't as strong as Sun and Ketu being conjunct which can pose alot more problems, especially for a man.

your sun in 5th house is good as it is lord of the 2nd, you should experienced loads of luck in getting money through speculative games. (i am by no means encouraging you to gamble)

i feel that you and your kids could end up being really proud of their spirituality if you do decide on having kids. they would do well in school sports too. sun is in a good position, so ketu's 5th aspect will depend much on the strength of mars being lord of the 5th house.

to be honest with you, most advanced astrologers never look at one aspect alone, therefore vedic takes ages to learn. we have to look at shadbala, dasha running, transits, it can get pretty intense since vedic is a super science.

dont worry to much about ketu dasha, you will feel a complete transformation when it ends, a new person more positive and spiritual and you will learn how to become self emotionally self reliant, you are dealing with past life residue and ketu dasha will help you deal with and overcome it
