transits?I know there are no trines, squares, etc., but do Vedic astrologers read their charts with the transiting planets? Would I then say that Mars is in Libra right now instead of Scorpio? I know Mahadashas are more important than transits or have greater influence, but if I am in my Mars Mahadasha, would Mars' future entrance into my Scorpio 5th house opposite my ..Taurus Mars be more significant than if I were not in my Mars Mahadasha? Thank you! IP: Logged |

My interest in tMars in my Scorpio 5th house opposite nMars in my Taurus 10th house has to do with a creative project I am working on. I welcome the assistance of the universe for sure! Now, I'm more than halfway through Mars Mahadasha, so Mars has passed through my 5th house several times during this Mahadasha, I just wasn't aware of this energy... can I even look at planets transiting through my houses in that way? edit: Nope. I am not even halfway through Mars Mahadasha. Or it is not halfway through with me. lol. Mars My Mahadasha began in 2014 and ends in 2021. This does make sense. IP: Logged |

I've been looking for Vedic horoscopes on YouTube so I can see how transits are read. I found one horoscope channel that was in English. It was by moon sign, and it didn't explain why it was saying all the TERRIBLE things it was saying. According to that Aries Moon horoscope for January, Aries should kill herself. She'd be much happier.I'm so confused now. I bet moon sign horoscopes are more important in Vedic, and Nakshatras are involved. ... I have one good book I'm reading and others have been suggested so I'm sure ill get to this topic eventually in my reading, its just that I'm accustomed to reading my transits in my western chart and hope to be able to do this with my Vedic chart..but maybe this takes much more time. I feel like there's a lot I'm missing..☹ (sad face) IP: Logged |
